Invoke cards by finding the right symbols

click on the pentacle's corners to draw a line

you must complete a symbols in 3 steps, each composed of 2 lines

Controls

pan the camera with right click or middle click, zoom with mouse click

Clues and spoilers

  • Start : just reproduce the symbol on the card

  • Gift : there is a little sign above one of the pentacle's points. This symbol is also present on the first card "start". It represent the topmost point of the pentacle so you know if the symbol needs to be rotated. In this case it does, so to draw the symbol you ;ust take into account the position of the inversed "N" sign.

  • Potential : the symbol can be founc behind the person.

  • Findings : the symbol is on the moon

  • Hubris : the symbol is around his eye

  • Mirror : The symbol is unedr water in the sink

  • Regrets : The symbol is on the medallion but once again you must rotate it. This time not with the help of the "N" sign but with one you can find on the Findings card, right to the moon.

  • Cure : This one will require multiple cards. You will need Cure, Regrets, Potential and Gift By looking closely you can see orange and blue lines that can actually align themself to form a pentacle. IT's easier to create a second card Potential (by redrawing the symbol founc on Gift) since is forms the left and right sides of the pentacle. From there, the symbol to draw is the red one

First off, this looks amazing, The VFX for getting the 2nd card and the tablet, great. The music is somewhat strong though, and it's hard to read the card and see what symbol we're trying to hit. Also, I'll just keep banging the [Escaoe Drum](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/ld55-hell-binder/public-service-announcement-escape) I guess...

This looks really pretty and I love the controls and feedback. The song while nice on its own is very repetative and a bit much for my mind while thinking. I wasnt sure what to do beyond getting "A Gift".

Wow, great game. I liked the graphics side as well as the concept. For me it's one of the best game in this game jam honestly. Gratz :)

Good job, I love the audio and the overall atmosphere! I would suggest allowing the player to undo all current drawing steps if the player already realizes that the first steps have gone wrong. Because right now you need to complete the current drawing in order to start again. Good luck!

Really great mood and incredible artwork, looked really polished! I don't really have any notes to give, I appreciate you including hints in the description.

It's an interesting and atmospheric concept. The puzzle idea is cool and the way we have to actually find clues. I wasn't very successful without your instructions but this game feels nice.
It's like a rest after a hard working day of a Necromancer.

Wow! Really fun game here! Great graphics and mood! Took me a second to figure out what I was supposed to be doing and how I was supposed to "replicate the card" but once I got my camera adjusted to a good spot I was cooking! All the art was really cool and I liked how the mouse illuminated the table!

Awesome puzzle game :D was a bit stumped early on while learning the game, so I looked up the hint for gift. After that, it was fun solving the puzzles. Really enjoyed the final puzzle as well, as aligning the cards didn't make sense until I created the second copy of one of them.

Loved the visuals as the artwork is great. Loved the escalating music as well. Great entry, well done! :D

Really good atmosphere, and very nice graphics. Especially the card art and the lighting effects are really nice. I think it is a bit difficult without the hints, and frustrating to zoom in and out to the card and then back to the tablet. Maybe if you could pick something up and hold it close?

This felt like a really neat escape room puzzle. I could literally see this being implemented at an escape room. I also noticed some of the textures on the cards were transparent so I went down a crazy rabbit hole where I was trying to see other cards through the potential card haha. I'm sure that would open up a lot more possibilities for puzzle solutions.

I love the graphics, but the amount of zooming in you had to do was rediculus, I didn't work out that second card, I tried doing symbols that matched but I had no idea what I was doing wrong

figuring it out until the end was pretty cool, the gift was pretty tricky at first but the rest was amazing, i love the light produced by the mouse it's a great addition, a bit more polished it would give such a darker ambiance
Music is good too, love the idea, awesome job

Incredible game. Best compo game I played so far. Graphics and polish is phenomenal, I love the lighting effect. The riddles are great, not to obvious, not too hidden. I looooved the last riddle, and I'm glad I was able to figure it out. Thanks for making this!

Very, very cool game that actually had me sitting here with a pencil and paper figuring out the symbols. It took me a while to figure out the clues were on the cards and not hidden in the environment which threw me off a bit. But once I realised what I was supposed to do I had a blast. Big fan of the music/art and general vibes too. One of my favourites of the jam, well done!

This is great in all categories! I did have to cheat a bit to get going and then more for the harder puzzles. But, with some more guidance/clues for the player included I could see it being able to build up into even more complexity really well. Nice comp submission!

Art style looks really refined. I liked the idea of an alchemical puzzle with cards. Last but not least, the lighting effect is adding so much to the enigmatic atmosphere of the game.

Loved this one! The puzzles are really clever, and it felt really good managing to complete the game. The graphics are lovely, illustrations really have a unique style.

Like other people mentioned, I also thought clues would be in the environment, so I started by going around and trying to input what I thought was clues around the table. maybe it would've been nice if one of the puzzles used that.

Other than that this was a fantastic compo entry. well done!

The idea is very interesting. The art of the cards is sublime, and I love how the light on the tabble became a very great "cursor" for the mouse that only added visual interest, and took advantage of the 3D aspect of items. An interesting summoner table top simulator! Great job, very innovative idea!
