The Lazy Archdemon by Aggrathon
You have been chosen to herald the invasion of earth! Can you overwhelm the defenders before the archdemon gets bored and decides to replace you?
A reverse tower defence game.

Software Used
Bevy (game engine), space_editor (game editor), Visual Studio Code (code), Rust (language), Audacity (sound), Blender (graphics), Macondo (font), git (version control), and Github (hosting).
Developer commentary
I would have liked add more content (and models for the units), but spent too much time just setting things up (the drawback of using a less mature engine and even less mature editor). I added the UI relatively late, but I really felt the game coming together after that, so maybe I should try prioritising the UI earlier next time?

It's satisfying to see the invocation circles producing creatures and it would be fun for the levels to be long enough to have more (I saw it's capped after a few upgrades), because, once again, it's satisfying to watch :p
It would be nice if you could see the summoning circles on the map :)
Well done!
Almost missed that there was a second level. That one took a few attempts to find a strategy that worked.
I like that you can change up your strategy whenever you like to try different things.
The archdemon boredom was annoying but definitely necessary to keep the challenge.
Though its not clear what the advantage is of summoning more demons at once or fewer for each circle, it seems to reduce the summoning speed proportionally to the number, am I missing something there?
Also, is the archdemon boredom just a timer or is it based on amount of summons?
