VampIrO merges Vampire Survivors with the addictive gameplay of snake.io. As a vampire, your goal is simple: survive by eliminating minions. But here's the twist - every minion you slay becomes a loyal servant, expanding your power. Dominate the darkness, and reign supreme with your army of minions. Built with Manifold Engine (my own), please feel free to check the source code and build it yourself.
WASD to move, Esc to exit, Space to Restart (on the end screen). Time: 5 minutes

@sinoftheta & @tomknocker44 I like seeing both sides of the coin haha. There's a bit of rng involved depending what spawns you get early. Not all monsters have the same damage numbers. The fire monsters particularly deal more damage than anyone else, so if you can get your hands on a few of them early on, you can really snowball. I do agree that the range needs more work.
@manabreak nah I've been working on my engine on and off for a few months. This is the first jam I'm doing with it and the first actual game with a start and an end. I also did not have sprite rendering before the jam started. I was expecting to make a 3d game at first.
I really liked the twist of the vampire survivor genre. Did several runs to see what was the most effective strat :P
The idea itself is great, and I REALLY like the idea of defeated monsters becoming your minions.
Good job, and thanks for the fun play.

I have fixed this bug and will continue working on my engine. Hopefully I can do better next time :)
