Final Forest Fiasco by Hybitous
On a moonlit night, three warriors, seemingly at chance, meet in the depths of an overgrown forest, each with a mission that might alter the fate of the world. Embark on a mystical quest with them in this turn based role playing adventure.

In battle, first select a character, then one of its moves and finally an opponent. Once all characters have selected targets, the turn is played out in the order of a dice roll on the actors' speed values. Be wary that some moves cost mana, which slowly regenerates in battle.
Use the right arrow key, D or the left mouse button to walk to the right outside of battle and enter/space key to advance dialogue. In battle, use the left mouse button to select actions.
We added a post-jam version that is playable in WebGL, the original game is still available as download.
Post-jam changelog: * Battle music * Sound effects * Added new idle animations and speech bubbles to battles * Added two new enemies * New font * Altered and added some dialogues * Stats and balance changes * Fixed bugged fight interactions

But after a while the music gets very old but well... x)
After playing I still didn't really understand all of what was presented to me in the screen however. So maybe a tutorial card on the page would be nice !
I think that What I like the most about this game is the goofy graphic. I am a particular fan of those, especially with such global coherence, it's very pleasing.
Balancing is always hard in jams and for the most part it was fine but I think the snake fight was a bit too tough. I tried it 3 times before having to give up because I couldn't stay alive long enough. Still a really great submission and one I enjoyed a lot so great job to everyone who worked on it.
P.S. Vni is my new hero.
Nice work!
What I would have liked to see: some kind of skill progression. There were a number of battles, but my characters always had the same actions, and those actions never got better as the game went on, nor did I get more max HP or mana. There wasn't much reward for winning the fights, which made them seem a bit repetitive.
I did find a bug where an enemy killed Vni before Hare acted, and since Hare's action was to heal Vni, I was still able to use him, and I don't think he lost any mana for taking actions, either. Or maybe Vni's just that good! You decide!
Ultimately, I think what really makes this game stand out is the artwork, the dialogue, and the story/worldbuilding. The battle system has a lot of unrealized potential, but that's jam deadlines for you!
