Cool Concept, definitely unclear how the worm could tell my steps were too even, when i was doing them with no pattern, but i guess thats the challenge :) Cool idea and style!

I struggled to figure out what kind of rhythm I needed to avoid (repeating the same rhythm, or just not in rhythm with the music?). But it's a cool concept, and I love the ultra low-fi pixel art graphics, it's a cool design.

@poboy I haven't read it, but tell me if its fun

@garyninja The worm is VERY sensitive to rhythym

@paloobi Not the music (perhaps I should remove it or change it later, everyone thinks that the first)

For 3 hours that was pretty impressive indeed. Managed to make it to x finally. Music reminded me of some of those early arcade games. Very enjoyable.

Managed to reach the target!

Although to do it I had to switch my brain off and press keys at 'random'

Fun, as it was written!

Really interesting idea, would be interested to know what the game considers a rhythm as I feel like I just randomly got to the end, so I guess it worked? Well polished for 3 hours, nice job!

Too bad we only had 3 hours to do the Jam because the idea is good and could have been taken much further

Such a nice entry for just three hours.
I really like the vibe and the idea, but I just dont seem to understand the concept of not walking in the rhythm :D.
At the end i just smashed the keys till I rode the worm!
But a really creative idea for a game!

@cake @adam-gallina @chuchugeralt You have chosen the path of faith! Good job.

@muhyrla @atan You have chosen the path of enlightenment! Let me help you in your journey:

I look at the ratio of two consecutive durations between steps. A mouthful :D This ratio has to be outside of a range to be considered out of rhytym. Currently, this range is between 0.5 and 2.0. Therefor durations of 1, 2 seconds (ratio = 2) would be considered rhythmic while 1, 3 seconds (ratio = 3) would be considered not. You can formulate a solution from there maybe :)

@dregs Thanks Hans Zimmmer himself composed it.

@flatgub Thanks

@pierre-cilluffo Perhaps sometimes obscurity of a game is very enjoyable for me. But if I'd like to expand it I would sokoban and dungeon crawler mechanics to it and/or conceptualize it as an anti-crypt of the necrodancer

Nice little game! Had a lot of fun trying to find a way to consistently walk irregularly! I found that spelling aaaaaaaa slowly in morse code allows you to proceed with no red flag!

Also loved the description ^^

@jojopalambas Spelling aaaaaa slowly in morse is a really nice way to conceptualize it :D I've thought of it as a really exaggerated swing rhythm before

After about 10-15 attempts I finally won the game. I suck at rhythm games and apparently I suck even harder at anti-rhythm games XD Nice little entry.

This is a great game, I like the concept. It was hard to type in a non rhythmic way but I found an easy way to trick the system. You can simply double tap on a key then make a little pause and repeat this until you reach the end. This pattern is really regular but is not detected by the system
