Simple, and effective graphics and sounds. \n\nThe gameplay was pretty fun. Took a little while to get used to the inertia when moving, but it gave a neat feel to the game. Drifting through a pack of spiders to snatch up the last cheese was a pretty good feeling too.  \nIts easy to take menus for granted, but they were very nicely executed here.  \nMaybe the UI could have been a bit bigger? I didn't notice the hearts until the second level. I also couldn't help but feel like the game lacked a bit of player agency and choice. It's fun to kite mobs, but what if there were pickups that altered the way the mouse moved, or the spiders chased you?\n\nOverall, nice entry! Sorry to hear you missed the Compo deadline, but this is a solid Jam! I would have liked a bit more music in the game, but that's ok.\nI couldn't get past level 4 (too many spiders!!), but I think I was a bit uncomfortable with the mouse movement, which felt like sliding across the floor (like on an ice rink): it gives a funny effect, but it's hard to master, especially as there's no dodge\/sprint command.\nOtherwise, the game goal is very clear and the level design seemed simple and effective.
