Difficult game! I wish I could jump a bit quicker. I laughed when the queen said she was gonna starve in "19.5123" seconds. Good work though

I managed to raise 4 and then ran out of time. I was frequently plagued by having my jumps interrupted by messages, which cost me a good chunk of time.

"Gurl, I feel like I'm starving in the next 19.99456 seconds" -Relatable

I liked the art style and mood, great game.

Very nice game. Very complete and nice delivery on the story and tutorial. Towards the end, when it got more hectic, all the messages from my "bosses" interrupted my work and jumps and such. Actually, kind of like bosses in a real job would :D

Phew! that was stressful!
Made it with like 18 seconds left.

That's a fun game! You always have something (or multiple things) to do

By the way the description says *Can you manage to raise 7 larva?* but you only need 5

This game is really addictive I played for a long time always panicking when the timer was close to end.
Nice job !

@just-a-dev I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I had to tweak all the numbers a bit to make it better playable :joy: I feel like with the developer-tinted glasses I always assume people need 0 time to understand how to use all the mechanics.

Nice looking, frantic game with some cute characters and funny dialogue! The level was well-designed. It was fun to navigate it. I feel like the last run I just needed a few more seconds. 4/5's my best. I think the messages are important, but they probably shouldn't stop the flow.

Wow! I definitely felt like a busy worker ant. This game had me doing something non-stop, until I figured out how to plan ahead. Even after planning ahead, it felt like a lot was happening.

It felt kind of jerky. At the beginning, smoother camera movements would have been nice. During gameplay, the interruptions from dialog were pretty annoying. If the camera stayed focused on the player, it would have felt a lot better.

Wo! Very frantic having to run around and take care of everybody. I didn't understand the relationshisp between the fruit and larvae and stuff at first but once I had done each action once it became more obvious to me. I thought the characters speaking about their needs really helped me to understand what each person needed, although the camera cuts got a little bit intrusive later on when I knew what I had to do I was just racing around trying to get it all done. Though that also added to the franticness.

very enjoyable and challenging, i didnt manage to get all 5 but really enjoyed it, 1 thing i would have like dis the popup to not pause and cause the jump to break, i fell so many times from midjump popup.

I really loved the idea of this game. The camera cuts were a bit annoying when they interrupted jumps, but appart from that, it's great. The dialogues are a good point too, as with two lines you can already deduce their personality 🐜.

The art style is really charming, and the game has a fun, frantic vibe. The characters' messages add a nice touch of humor. Adding sound would take it to the next level, but it's already an enjoyable experience as is!

It's a pretty fun game. I managed to get through it only the second time, because I had to understand everything and get used to the controls. But after that, everything was great!

What a complete and smooth game! The characters are also very cute. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw "I feel like I’m starving in the next 19.99456 seconds."

Pretty fun, my babies didn't seem to be eating though? And then mushroom guy got stuck on my "selected item" so when I tried to do anything, the mushroom guy would interact with me.

Very fun game ! The level design is well thought out. The game is fluid despite the "orders" that cut the jump, and this pushed me to restart until I succeeded :) Congrats

It is hard to win. But it is a very fun gameplay. Artstyle is cool.
And this is very annoying when npcs say something and your view swithes to them.

Really fun but also really difficult. It would be better if time didn't tick down when you cut away to the various locations to give a message as it takes away control from the player and makes you lose a lot of time, I was only a few seconds away from winning but because of this timeloss I didn't make it :(

Great art, a really fun unique gameplay loop, and a complete experience with no obvious bugs (except for a few ants) or crashes. I had a good time and would love to see a post-jam version. Keep making games!

Fun experience, I won on my second try! The timing is very tight, so it's practically impossible for a first time player to win on their first try, which might be frustrating for some. Knowing where everything is and stockpiling correctly is very important to have a chance at all. I enjoyed it though! You did a fantastic job at directing the player's actions, it was never unclear what needed to be done next. Great job.

A really solid game that was a lot of fun, but man I'm happy I won't have to play it again because it was stressssful, we need more ants helping it out in this colony. My game actually bugged out at 51 seconds remaining. I couldn't interact with anything! Really nice work though.

Fun little experience! Did feel a bit stressful, but I enjoyed playing it. Wish there were some animations for the characters, and maybe some sound also. Overall good job!

This was pretty fun. I liked having to manage all the little items although sometimes picking up and dropping them was buggy and frustrating. The graphics were great and the movement controls felt good. Nice work.

Reminds of some sort of overcooked in a way, really fun and would probably be even better in coop :p, well done !

Stressful but definitely a doable challenge! Reminds me of playing SimAnt as a kid. :) At one point I hit a bug (no pun intended) where I wasn't able to interact with anything anymore so I didn't get to finish the game, but I got two ants!! The gameplay is fairly complex but you did a good job explaining it in an intuitive way, so nice job on that.

At first I was like "oh, another weird platformer" but boy do I love throwing those larvae and stuff around! I really like that not only can you throw them but you also don't have to go "place" them after. I won when the timer was 00:00. Not sure if there was a check at the end of the timer if my last ant was just about done. If there was that's genius because the last second ending was really exciting!
Too bad you didn't have time for any animations or sounds. The humor was great, art fit well and was cute and the platforming mechanics worked nicely. Good job!

Would've benefitted from having some basic audio at least, but overall pretty good job on the rest of the mechanics!
