The game mecanic is very good, although I should try this on mobile because it's very hard to draw circles with a mouse! The graphics and audio are top notch, the game feels very polished with various levels, leaderboard, and a lot of "juice" everywhere.
I also love that you can catch several rabbits at once! This is a very risky move, but very rewarding when you manage to pull it off! This is an excellent idea, congrats!
This is a very solid entry without any real flaw IMHO. But if you are looking for suggestions, here is some minor stuffs:
- I think the difficulty gap is a bit too hard between each level: easy is very easy (and it's good for beginners) while medium is already quite challenging, and i could finish hard even after several tries (those bunnies are jumping too fast!) maybe adding 5 difficulty levels instead of 3 would allow for a more progressive ramp up?
- Maybe you could display the score during gameplay too? When I was attempting several times the easy level to try to get on the leaderboard, it was a bit frustrating to play "blind" and I didn't know how much I scored during each new attempts before the end.
I hope you release this on mobile, they would love it!
The music really ties the western feel and cuteness together.
At first I didn't get that a "perfect" circle would give me more points, but as soon as I understood it was off to challenge the leaderboards!
Cool game, nice presentation, pretty unique mechanic!
Congratulations

If you're interested, this is what I ended up doing:
- Calculate bounding box of all the points making up the rope and calculate the center
- Find the `minimum` and `maximum` distance from the bounding box center to a point on the rope
- Compare the minimum and maximum against some threshold
It would look something like this:

A perfect circle would have `minimum` and `maximum` distance equal, as all points should be the same distance from the center in a circle. (`minimum / maximum = 1`)
In practice, perfect circle is impossible so we assigned thresholds to what we consider a good enough circles. Below is an example of a bad circle. The minimum and maximum distances differ greatly so we don't consider it circle enough. `minimum / maximum < circle threshold`

It isn't perfect, but does a pretty good job I think. Below are some examples of it recognizing wrong shapes. We couldn't set the thresholds too high, as it would be frustrating to play.

Hope that explains it a bit, took me some experimenting to come up with something that worked well enough.
Wanted to pass all 3 difficulties but hard was too hard for me : D
Congratz!
Very cool gameloop with a nice core system (creating circles). I had fun doing it over and over. I have played it with my mouse, but I can imagine that it makes a lot of fun playing it with a pencil.
The music and the visuals fitted well together with the Western theme. Nice detail, that the upper counter goes away, when you're near to it with your mouse, so you can see the playing field.
Overall it is a very polished game and I think that three difficulties are enough. But the "easy mode" feels too easy in my opinion. You have 5 hearts (carrots) too lose and the bunnies are very slow in this difficulty.
Very nice, that you've put in a leaderboard for the three modes. Good job! :)
