I found the level with the yellow bugs a bit challenging at first, but once I recognized the pattern, everything became clear. The level featuring sounds was somewhat confusing, the overlapping sounds made it difficult to focus while I clicked on each one. It would be helpful to have the option to mute the previous sound if I choose to listen to another one temporarily. Overall, it’s a fantastic narrative puzzle game!

I love it! I really liked that it even had some kind of take-away message at the end. The whole story could've been build around that (earlier hints on what the main character is missing or what she needs to be remembered of).

My favorite game so far—simply fantastic. There were a few puzzles where I got a bit stuck, took me a little while to get through them, but it was so worth it for the art and storytelling. Everything is subtle yet very powerful and really well-executed.

I must admit, this sentence here truly left a lasting impression on me. 😊

Some observations I would add to this are that I found the sound to be quite low, particularly the music during the opening and closing cutscenes. It's a shame because the music is genuinely good. Perhaps it could be turned up a bit? I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems quieter compared to other sounds here.

In the second puzzle, it was also challenging to figure out which horn belonged to which box, as there were more than one that looked quite similar. I believe there were two horns that resembled an "S" and two more that looked like a "5," or something along those lines.

In the dragonfly puzzle, it was the first time I had to use the hints, and that's when I realized all I had to do was listen. You can actually hear the sound of the dragonflies—I hadn't picked up on that before. 🐉🎧

@sashunyar thank you! yeahh yellow bugs turned out to be a bit harder than other levels, we'll look into that :)
sorry about the sounds, we forgot to mention in the tutorial that if you take a creature and then place it back on the table, the sound should stop. it's really helpful that you've mentioned that!

@velvetlobster thank you so much for your feedback! i am happy that you liked it :)
regarding the sounds — yeah we struggled a bit to tune it as it was pretty much before the deadline...will fix it later, hopefully :)
as for the horns, there are two types of them are that very similar on purpose, maybe that was too harsh, especially for the second puzzle! sorry about that

Brilliant and inventive matching puzzles, or at least I don't remember seeing anything like this before. As for production values, I thought there was a bigger team behind this, quite impressive achievement for two people. It was a pleasure to play this.

Really good use of the concept and incorporating that into a nice story. The puzzles had a good mix of difficulty and problem solving. Overall good feedback on the overall controls. It would be nice to be able to swap out objects with one another to avoid as much double clicking, but not really a major issue.
Lovely atmosphere, overall great entry.

Fantastic game with incredibly strong storytelling, art and atmosphere. The whole box concept is so charming to me, and extremely well executed. The puzzles aren't that easy, but extended my playtime to a relaxing 10 minutes, and were therefore well balanced (at least for me). I also appreciate the amount of polish that went into the game, basically everything has a feedback sound, which makes everything feel coherent. Some slight scaling punch or similar upon pickup/release would be nice, but the animation upon completing a puzzle is just top notch ^^.
A really artistic entry with simple, yet effective storytelling, great job!

Hey @royur! Thanks for playing our game!
To solve beetles puzzle you need to place beetles in the spots that will fit with the patterns on their backs. Patterns won't be repeated 1-1, but you will see that beetle fits there.

Even i don't like this type of games, this one felt amazing. Cool representation, on the other hand it's not that small for 3 days, art is beautiful and the story is cool. I would agree with the theme as well.
beautiful game, great job guys

Guys, I'm thrilled! I really love the visual aspect. My compliments to the artist. I liked your attention to detail— every action, even when placing the insects in their designated spots, is accompanied by sounds. Speaking of which, you picked them perfectly. Immersion in the game's atmosphere is guaranteed. Well done!

Impressive to have a cohesive experience completed by the end of the jam! Particularly enjoyed the painted art, and the gradual increase in difficulty of the puzzles felt on-point.

Thought that the music could be a little louder - I realize it's atmospheric, and you don't want it to drown out the later sounds, but I found it a bit distracting, kind of straining myself to hear it.

I would have preferred to be able to drag the bugs out of the box instead of having to right-click on them - I found myself doing that, even knowing better, because it felt more intuitive to me.
