Could you upload a web version to Itch.io or to Ludum Dare directly? Would love to play it but am not able to download ZIPs on this PC.

Thank you for sharing your game! I played both the virus and gemini modes and got to level 5 in each. Playing as the Virus felt a bit more intuitive and I enjoyed chomping on my rivals. While playing in Gemini mode, I someone ended up inside the bottom wall, and then moved through to the other side and into a seemingly endless zone of background and no other mobs. My favorite thing was probably the music which gave the perfect vibe!

@reiale Sorry for gemini :( He's not feeling well yet. We will try to fix it soon, if possible. We know that it has a lot of bugs.

You added the itch.io link under "Windows", you might want to update that. The Parallax background loads slower than the player moves. (We had the same issue and finding the background sprite and unchecking "centered" fixed that for us in Godot).

The Sound was cool and the character movement was really smooth. Attacking didn't seem to work for neither Gemini nor the Virus so I can't say too much about the game. I think it's ambitious to do two characters but I can see where you were going with this.

Overall not a bad entry, just some small tweaks needed I think.

Hello, I played your game! It worked well on web, I found using the gemini to be much stronger because I couldn't help but get hit when I tried attacking as virus. Good submission!

I am glad to inform you that we have fixed bugs related to gemini and some other stupid errors in the code (there is a list of changes on itch io).

Nice ideas, getting Gemini to was quite challenging but overall very fun game. But I had some issues with enemies and food turning invisible sometimes.

This is a delightful entry. Has the addictive nature of a good rogue-like. I died a few times before I learned that the virus needs to be very opportunistic in the beginning! then I had a great run. Things got a little stale when I could just mindlessly ram into everything and regen past it. The perk scaling was very interesting, with a balance between flat changes that are more valuable very early, then shifting hard to "bonus/level" perks to get crazy values. I wish the level-up progress had a visible meter to watch go up as I gobble everything in sight!

I have to shout out Pakeika's sound track with this. It's amazing. A real hype-up vibe that kept my energy and anticipation high even when the action was slow. I kept exploring levels just to listen to all the tracks. Excellent work.

The audio and graphics are great. The movement feels a bit too floaty but other than that it is a nice game. Good job! :D

First of all, that music is such a jam. Second of all - woah! I love that you included multiple characters and bacteria types, and it's fun to progress and collect upgrades. I did run into an issue where the upgrade selection was halfway off-screen, but I was still able to figure out what they said. Really fun stuff!
