I really loved it, it reminded me a lot of Fireboy And Watergirl and brought back a lot of memories, good job :)

@guadalupe-murgo I can't say I'm familiar with that game, I'll have to look it up. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much, though!

Really cool puzzle game, you did a great job explaining the basics of the game and then increasing the difficulty! Well done!

Such a cool surprise! I love the way you named the critters. Your presentation in general is really good, having the tutorial text on the sides during the levels is a really nice touch, looks good and is effective.

I think the walking SFX a bit too harsh though, especially after finishing the puzzles and just rushing towards the level end.

Overall really solid entry! Good job. :)

Lovely puzzle game! Reminds me of "The Rangers Bow" from CoolMathGames.
Overall, probably the only bad thing about the game is the moving SFX. Also, may you write how to reset the level by key? Finding C was pretty difficult and I found them by accident.
Love their names!

@mmph You're not the first person to complain about the reset key not being listed, I could've sworn I'd mentioned it in-game but maybe it need to go in an earlier level? I'll add in a proper "Controls" section to the description.

This was fun! The tutorial levels were a nice touch. The 2nd-to-last level was probably my favorite - I liked the interaction of having to push one block with multiple creatures.

I played way too long, so much fun I had! I love these little puzzle games! I always find it impressive how they get made. What is your method by which you create these levels?

Loved this game! So cute & fun! One thing -- the controls were a little difficult, I accidentally restarted the game a couple of times because I am so used to wasd as an option instead of arrows & because s was close to x. Otherwise, loved everything about it!

@wouter52 I'll write up a more detailed breakdown when I do my traditional "Techy Bits" deep-dive this weekend, but for most of them I just thought of which mechanics I wanted to use in the level and how I wanted to combine them, and then TIC-80's mapping system made them quick and easy to put together.

@everyone I've been laid up with migraines and back pain ever since the compo ended, I promise I'll get round to rating your own games as soon as I can! Thanks so much for all the kind feedback so far!

It’s good to see folks are still programming for the TIC-80 and similar machines — minimalism and video games go hand-in-hand. I must admit, I usually don't care for puzzle games of this nature, but this one is more fun. The difficulty level is not too high, but the puzzles do require some thinking and planning. I like how the different creatures co-operate to solve the puzzles.

In general, you have built an interesting game world. Nice work.

Solid Entry, liked the pixel art. one nitpick i have though is how you need to press the arrow-key every time you want to move. Maybe those are limitations from TIC-80 though

@satless I believe there is a way to make it so that you move repeatedly while the arrow key is held down, but I forgot to implement it and can't remember what it is now. It's something to look at post-jam. Glad you liked it regardless!

Really fun puzzle game! The tutorials are clear, and the difficulty progression is great. I spent quite a bit of time on the last level. The art and sound effects are really nice too!

It's a very good puzzle game, there is a good progression in the gameplay mechanics with regular addition of new concept. I liked the graphics, the audio mood was good but I was a little annoyed by the movement sound after a while ^^.
Congratulations for your entry.

I love a lot about your game honestly, like the overall design is sick, the colour palette, the main menu is so fricking sick I probably spend way to much time into the main menu for this reason. I would have loved somekind of background music :DDD well done!

Pretty nice game, I love the attention you had for level design (progression was great, and final levels were challenging but not impossible). I really like how polished the tutorial feels, gently introducing a non-trivial number of mechanics one at a time. Well done!

Really enjoyed solving the little puzzles. Could probably do with some more audio, maybe some music, but it is hard to get everything done in the amount of time. My favourite puzzle was definitely the last one due to being quite a bit harder. Would have been nice to have a few more hard levels like that but might just be my personal preference. Overall a really cute game :D.

You packed in an impressive number of levels and mechanics! I really enjoyed the variety of puzzles. The mechanics were well introduced, and just the right level of challenge. Love the retro asethetic, too!

A very well made and polished game. I had fun and the puzzles were well designed. I wish there was a death animation for the critters. Also liked how the tutorial progressed and introduced the mechanics.

I love myself a good puzzle game. This one was great: slowly introducing different mechanics by starting with simpler level and then ramping up complexity. I led all critters to safety and I am proud of it!

@arqcenick I feared that the gameplay would feel too slow, so I intentionally stripped out anything that would have slowed it down further, including any sort of death animation; you just immediately start over.

@everyone Thanks so much for all the feedback, it's truly appreciated!
