enemies can collect energy too, consider it as a feature.

Cool game! I had trouble managing to hit the enemies, but then I figured out I can easily juke them by teleporting from wall to wall. I like the pixel graphics!

Congrats on finishing the jam and thanks for sharing your game!

This was a tough one — I only managed to make it a couple levels in. I think I might've done better if I understood which cannon would fire when I pressed x (also, didn't realize you could wrap edges until pretty far in!). I think a little bit more tutorializing, or maybe some more obvious indicators of which direction an attack would come from, would help!

I love the running player art and animation. I had a hard time figuring out how to load the cannons but got to level 4 which was cool!

I only figured out what to do after reading the comments here: I didn't even know that I was controlling the cannons! After I figured out that the orange things were cannonballs that I had to load the cannons with, then it was fun! I didn't finish, but got to level 7.

It's a cool idea, and had a great vibe: though, I thought the music was good but did not match the game... it would have been better if it was a bit more up-beat to match the frenetic gameplay!

It was interesting that you target the enemies indirectly, but it became a bit frustrating aiming the cannons. Pixel art was cool!

I really like the pixel art concept! However when I got stuck against a wall and pushed by enemies, it didn’t feel great, and the camera kept flashing between different positions which was disorienting. I can see the potential here, but the gameplay could use more clarity, especially in how it unfolds and what unique mechanics are in play. Congrats on finishing the entry!

Simple concept, very well executed. Nicely done!

The concept is really cool, I think adding a indicator as to which cannon will fire would be a big help.

Cool game! I like the game mechanics, but it seems that the levels get easier as you go further in, because although there are more enemies, they also become easier to hit (and I found that as long as I cross back and forth on the edge of the map, they will never catch up with me :D)

Kiting - the game! :D I had fun. And got to the end. :)
It took me until the last level to understand the meaning of the little numbers and symbols on the bottom of the screen, but I had survived until then by spamming x and running away. Seeing the numbers on the last enemy, though, I had to optimize my power output.
I, too, did not understand the wrapping. I thought it was bad leaving the edges, so I just stayed in the whole time. Worked well, too. The game got a little repetitive after a while, since you can just defeat all levels with the same tactic: run in circles and shoot. Some non-following enemies might have made things much more interesting.
Still, the game was nice. And you managed to put in a boss. That's always fun. :)

Nice game! I like how you could use the edges to teleport to the other side to dodge enemies. However if an enemie smashed into you close to that edge it janked out pretty hard. But overall a fun game, well done :)

Congrats on finishing the game for the jam. It took me a little bit to figure out the controls, I think the biggest thing the game needs is some sort of feedback for attacking or getting hurt. It was hard to tell if pressing 'x' did anything until I saw the cannon ball flying across the screen. Overall nice work.

A bit much happening on the screen. Solid classic concept. You did a good job as a solo. to be fair about it, it is not really my kind of game.

Kiting game lets gooo. Super solid execution of a simple idea. Only feedback I found is that since I could switch between panels there wasn't really a threat of dying because it seems to reset the enemies position! Great entry, especially impressive for a solo

Interesting concept. The attack mechanic is a bit confusing and hard to target and the difficulty curve feels a bit too steep. Also not sure how it fits the theme.

It took me a little to get used to what was appearing on the screen (especially that the < > V ^ were referring to one of the cannons) but overall I had fun. Really cool game!
