big numbers goes up brain goes brrrrrrrr xD
The only improvement I felt was from the streaks. Sometimes I would have just caught the fish from the airplane, and feel that I had played the game perfectly, only to see my streak breaks. It's a little unpredictable in that way. Audio also feels a little weaker comparing to all other aspects of the game, as it is neither serene, nor is it exciting. It is kind of in the middle, which I personally feel would help shaping the game's mood more if the audio has a bit more character.
I definitely learned a lot from playing Nom. Hopefully that one day I'd design a game as elegant as this. Thanks for the work!
Also, I would prefer if the controls were a bit different: W, S for forward, backwards, and A, D for turning. With momentum, it felt like I was playing a racing game with weird controls.
Still, it's a very polished and fun game with minimalist look and design.
The graphics are neat, extremely simple yet super polished, with nice particles and good feedback choices. The only thing I regret is that the controls are not what you expect from a shark (or whatever swimming). I wanted, like @woona to have a turn feeling, especially because the shape of the character you control leads you to think that it will turn. Anyway, still a really good rating for me, on this addictive little game supported by really nice ambiant sounds.
