Anyway, good job to have finished a game for your first game jam! A game jam is a special thing, Ludum Dare is a precious event, and your first time will create you some lasting memories.

I couldn't get the embedded version here on ldjam page to load, and it looks like the itch.io page you linked doesn't exist or at least hasn't been made publically available yet, but I was able to get it work after downloading the files! I think the game shows a lot of potential and you should be very proud. Even just sticking with your project and releasing something is a big accomplishment, but I think the art looks really good.

Very solid idea! Hitboxes could be a bit more clear, and some extra levels would go a long way. Good work though

Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing in the game! I like the preying mantis attacks though

It`s a solid start. The gameplay concept is quite good, and I really like the idea of a story written in a bold, edgy style. Technically, there are some significant flaws, but I believe if you work on it, there's definitely potential for the future.

Hey be nicer to yourself my friend!! You know how many people say "I wish I could make games" but you actually gave it a go. It has a start and achievable end - aka you made a freaking GAME!! Thats farking hype, lets gooooooo. Obs this is your first jam and its a grueling challenge. Great effort, keep working on your skills and you will get there.
