I'm a bit surprised, that when flinging multiple slimes at once they basically all get flung in random directions (guessing that's based on their rotation). Overall really enjoyable
I ended up mostly moving the king to dodge anything incoming while letting the other slimes deal with the wave, but the idea is very fun. I played in fullscreen and having the king at the bottom of the screen made it very hard to fling him back up (not enough space to drag the mouse down) which made me loose in the end! definitely the best game I've seen so far
I also liked the graphic style, especially the title screen
Good job
The music and art is great, and I especially love the title screen music. It's such an awesome vibe, between the clusters of soft notes in the background filling out the scale, and the soft, sporadic drums. And then the English horn comes in and tops the cake.
I also have an affinity for games that can be played with the mouse exclusively.
Tried my best to provide constructive feedback without sounding like an asshole, but I guess I'm not as eloquent of a writer as I would like. I want the team to understand that I do like the premise and the game's look and feel is pretty great. I just felt the movement mechanics were a bit unfair.
I'll go back to my hole now.
A major thing we want to tackle in our followup version is decreasing game pace and making group flinging more transparent. While there is fun chaos, we think the game needs to slow a bit down to make positioning and moving more satisfying and impactful.
Of course we are also adding a way to move when at the borders given how difficult that turned out to be.
While in an ideal version the player would still have to dodge a lot with the King, we will experiment with making slimes block bullets and adding more defensive slimes to allow more freedom for the player.
