Don't Wake me Up by Glassar
The World ended 10 years ago when the biowars started. Tiny biocreatures suspended in gas rained down on your home city.
Luckily you were able to get to your DIY cryocasket in your basement in time. Waking up you check the computer, vital signs are still not habitable. You need to get a refill for the cryo juice so you can sleep again.
Hopefully next time you wake up it will be better, hopefully you will wake up at all.
How to play
Explore the tunnels bellow your basment to find more Carbonated BioFuel™ for your cryocasket. But keep a wary eye on your oxygen gauge, if you run out you will quickly perish. To defend yourself you have your steam gun, but that takes oxygen to fire. Avoid the biogas to preserve oxygen, and look out for what is hiding in the dark.
Note that the game will lag a bit the first few seconds while the shaders are calculated. And a blue full screen button is hidden in the bottom right with some scrolling.
Controls
- WASD for movement
- Mouse for looking around
- Left mouse button for firing (costs oxygen from your tank)
- E to interact with objects
- Shift to sprint (consumes more oxygen from your tank)
- Tab to open the settings page
Tools
- Unity
- Blender
- Gimp
- Audacity
Resources
We have made all music and all the important 3d models ourselves. However we have also used some freely available props, textures and sound effects. As we made all the important stuff ourselves and are really proud of them we didn't really want to opt out of the Graphics and Audio categories. But you can be the judge if we should get rated in those categories or you just want to leave them empty.
Models and textures
- Particle pack (for flashlight, blood and gas sprites)
- Asset pack for horror games (for bed, chair and wheel chair)

I get what you were going for with the narrow FOV, but I think it could be just a bit wider (tho I think I got used to it after playing for a bit). I also couldn't shoot some of the long hanging creatures - they just wouldn't shrink. Oh well, maybe I just missed. Overall, well done - i got goosebumps while playing this.
I personally enjoy the narrow FOV. It makes the world feel cramped and unforgiving. The mechanics were also unforgiving with how slow the reload was. *I think this was a good thing, personally*.
The music, especially the piano, is perfectly eerie and complements the dark, unsettling mood. 🎶💀 The creepy traps and hanging creatures are spot-on for creating tension, but I did have some trouble hitting the long-hanging enemies.
While aiming without a crosshair makes sense for the "no HUD" vibe, a subtle indicator like a laser pointer could have been a helpful addition.
Overall, it's an incredibly atmospheric experience, and I loved how the visuals and mood come together.
I'm having some real issues with the embedded version, and this looks really cool, but I just can't get it to play right, even with full screen.
I like 3d models and visuals
+1 point for an ability to run
+1 point for the gun, just like in metro
+1 point for barnacles from half life
Happy you guys enjoyed the gun @soul-grinder and @pomidor-carry. It was super fun making the design and animations for it!
Thank you all for the nice comments!
I had some stutter but as others say my mouse was super sensitive even on the lowest setting and I think that was related.
Great entry, just cool atmosphere and brought together really well.
But i LOVE the graphics, love the ambiance, and love the fact than a 3D game was on html 5 playable on navigator. Keep going !
if you got time, try rating my game too!
tho sencetivity even on the lowest setting is kinds too much and i ran out of ammo - couldve just killed me insantly at that point
Overall i like the idea a lot and graphic with models are a nice touch
I recorded myself playing to game, so I can provide as much feedback as possible. Cheers!
