Love the audio. It's easy to exploit the game by cornering the child in a dead end, maybe they should faint from fear after some time? Anyway one of my favorite so far

Hiya all! Thank you for your kind comments :heart:. We are all really excited because it was @metaksonio's first time doing art for a game and my first time writing music / SFX for a game and it was tough doing it while coding at the same time. So we are **really really really** glad you liked it.

We made a couple of small updates (more underway once we find time to polish some stuff).

Namely:

- No more kid exploits. They faint after some good scares.
- Tuned some enemies to make them just a bit spookier.
- Improved some of the annoying colliders.

I love the aesthetic. It really looks like an old movie. The gameplay is quite fun and the little bugs are cute. One thing I would tweak is the residents AI. They really like to get stuck around the walls making easy point farm.

Beautiful game! Its really interesting that you don't have to kill people, you just have to scare them! It's so cool when you are mightful and a cute animated rat at a time. Didn't experience any bugs so far.

Yeah that's true :sweat_smile:. It's in our plans for the upcoming patch to fix the enemy AI once we find some time.

This is a fun little game with great graphics. It's kinda rough around the edges, but also its a game jam game, so no surprise there. Nice work

Nice game! The character select was a nice touch, you could add different abilities or stats to them to add a bit more variety/replayability. I really enjoyed the music and sound effects, and thought it was a pretty unique idea. I kept getting hung up on the various objects throughout the room; maybe more specific collision shapes or more clarity in what the objects were would be helpful.

I really enjoyed the game, the music is top-notch, and the atmosphere is excellent. The kids’ squeals are delightful. The gameplay is simple and easy to understand.

Love the concept of the game and the general mood! The cries of the residents makes it very fun to run around. It's fun to try and get the AIs stuck on the obstacle as well. Nice job

Good fun! I managed to chase a kid into a corner and give a plague doctor the run around, returning to the corner to scare the kid again and again. Perhaps it shouldn't give more points once the kid has fainted. Enjoyed this though.

What a cute game! I discovered an exploit where I trapped three kids in a corner and just stood there and let my numbers go up due to proximity. They never fainted. I want to submit my high score but perhaps it's dishonest since I didn't have to work for it. :D
