I like the idea of matching demon dogs to suitable owners and the art is cute.
But, I don't think this idea was captured in an interesting way. The answer to the question of which dog is the right fit is either too forthcoming or confusing. It feels more like a gimmick than a mechanic. Same thing goes for the dog catching. These would be fine if they were supporting a meaningful game mechanic.
