Colony Clash by stormburpee
Colony Clash is what happens when an AutoBattler and a Trading Card Game (think Super Auto Pets and Hearthstone) decide to have a baby… a scrappy, mischievous baby. And yep, you guessed it, this is that baby—but, like, with a few missing teeth. Just a bit rough around the edges, but don’t let that fool you—there's charm in every bug and glitch (pun intended!).

In Colony Clash, you’re dealt cards each turn, and it’s your job to build the ultimate team of critters and unleash them on the battlefield! Rearrange your team, play your cards wisely, and watch as special abilities trigger epic chain reactions that can either carry you to victory or plunge you into defeat. Take the Queen Ant, for example—she loves boosting her fellow ants whenever she attacks. So, if you’re clever, you’ll craft a strategy around her royal abilities.
And here’s the fun part: Each turn, you’ll have all your mana refunded and gain 3 extra mana, letting you build up to a max of 12. This sweet, sweet mana is the key to deploying your cards (and maybe your enemies’ doom). Don’t worry—every turn, you’ll draw enough cards to keep your hand full at 7, so no shortage of possibilities there!
Oh, and did I mention? This quirky little game was entirely cobbled together in just 72 hours, live on stream (I know, right?!). If you’re curious about the madness, feel free to check us out here: Twitch.tv/ElStormeo. We promise you’ll witness at least some chaos.
Future Plans
But wait, there’s more! We’ve got big plans in the works. Think deck-building, a shiny store where you can unlock packs of awesome new cards, and even multiplayer (because crushing your friends is half the fun). If Colony Clash feels like the kind of chaos you’d love to see more of, let us know! We’d love to keep building it into something truly epic.

I've gone through and tried out all your games too, and left some feedback and ratings, you guys have smashed it.

I do have a few minor comments, though: it's hard to see the cards, and it would have been nice to have them displayed large on the left-hand side so that you could read them properly! (Especially as the full-screen mode doesn't work itch io :') )
The balancing at the start is perhaps a little odd, on one game I end up with just one enemy, on another with 4, including one with 2 attacks and 4 hearts, which can be very frustrating.
But there's a lot of potential here!
The sound effects are 10/10 and a lot of content for 1 dev.
Really enjoyed playing it and did not encounter any bugs (besides the odd screen ration when playing in Browser).
UPDATE: I checked your stream replay and I'm a bit curious about the art being so different from saturday afternoon to sunday morning and done off-stream. Did you use AI to generate it, or was it done by someone else?
If it's AI it would be better to be upfront about it.
I'm not sure if all the cards were working as intended? After the ant died it was meant to give health? but i don't feel like it ever worked.
Some of the battles felt a bit overly random, i didn't really have much chance to strategize and i would make a build for it to totally fail because of random chance.
Overall though, really nice presentation, the card designs and graphics really came together very nice. The audio was great and with a bit more polish i could picture this being a very fun game.
Edit: I hope you added an invisible button over the hyperlink in your menu *simply* to track how many people tried to click it without actually opening the web page.
Also, joining others here, the graphics partially look very AI-ish
Would have been great to see the enemy units for the next round to prepare better, or at least have hints
Loved the game !
But unfortunately I also think the graphics are not "self-made". Either you used an AI or premade assets. I actually watched parts of your stream and all big graphic changes happened off-stream (the background and the animals). If someone here asked you about "the visuals weren't made by you", you ignored the message. Why not just say you did it? I have no evidence against you, it just feels overall very fishy regarding the visuals.
In this screenshot of your stream there are assets, which you used for the game like the hearts, crystals and swords. Why are there so many of them, which weren't required like the calender for example? There was not a lot of time, so why making elaborate assets, which won't be in the game?

Then you're LD-title screen, which is also very elaborate doesn't really fit with your In-Game-visuals (the style of your critters are not coherent).

I hope you can put light into this situation, because right now I can't rate your game properly.
