A bit off the mark in my opinion, but good effort. The rpgmaker (don't remember the name, but I remember this exact aesthetic) feels like more story crafting when you make a game with it. I will openly admit I'm biased on this points, so please take that into consideration.

Surprised to see another JRPG here! Wish the crittercubes had a bearing on combat instead of just being mentioned in dialogue.

@menacingmecha I did insert a gameplay aspect of the Critter Cubes in there. You will notice that besides enhanced stats, all characters have increased critical hit rates during the boss battle. I had to make do with RPG Maker 2000's limitation of no positive status effects.

Good variety to have a jrpg here too, gave off a nostalgic vibe when playing it, solid game, although I hoped for more unique aspects to it, but nevertheless good work!

This game has all the pieces of a functional game. It works smoothly, simple and easy to understand. I didn't really see anything that seemed new or unique though. In current form it is playable. but if you want it be fun and exciting, it needs more: More variety in the types of challenges and the types of skills/spells that were usable. More engaging story and plot. More places to explore and reasons to explore them.

I'm a big fan of RPGs, and I haven't seen many RPG submissions so far. Thank you for making this!

@happytrollangus: Glad you liked this game. I already rolled out Episode 1 of Lily Adventuresses!, which is a fully fleshed-out game with 3-5 hours of play time and has some connections with this game (after all, both occur in the same world), so go check it out.

Nothing groundbreaking, but it's a nice story-oriented game. Well done!

Wasn't too innovative in my opinion but a nice jrpg, one I wanted to make as a project for ages so good job on it.

Didn't have any issues using the original runtime on my Windows 11 (running inside a sandbox just in case). Out of curiosity, do the names of places and people mean anything?

@wendel-scardua As I explained in one of my recent posts about this game, I cobbled together a list of names from various sources, making sure they would fit the settings of my games. Since this is a fantasy game, combining mostly European and native Filipino names is fine with me, as it draws from many Western and Eastern fantasy influences, as well as my native Filipino influences. Heck, the prologue's quest was inspired by a real-life incident, which you can read here: https://www.philstar.com/nation/2024/01/11/2324875/husband-destroys-ofws-travel-papers-cell-phone-naia

@moonlightbomber the prologue story did felt too specific and yet I never suspected it to be a real incident. What an horrible person that husband is :(
