and the music is great!
With a bit more rhythm/pacing (like I was just chilling between making attacks), or at least one that fits the music, it'd be a great game!

SFX need more balancing, but the beautifully balanced SP laser is so freaking cool, haha I knew exactly what will come, but it still just banged and smashed on my face, looks really cool.
Also nice graphic choice, simple and effective.
Some notes on my experience:
I was confused by the buttons, I realized the "?" was a tutorial only after reading the comments on the page. IMHO game Jam should always start with the tutorial if you had one made, because tutorial are such a great aspect of a good game, it would be to bad if a rater would miss it or have a lesser experience if they miss one of the nicely crafted elements you put in the game.
I am bad with "agility" based game, my coordination of moving with the mouse then orienting toward the enemy was not my thing. (to many interactions on one "device") But then, that's probably the goal of an agility based game to learn how to use it!
A more evident feedforward/feedback on where the attack impacts, the amount of damage etc.. would be a great addition if you plan to do something more with the game
Thanks for the rating. It gives me hope that I can at least get a not bad place in graphics.
Quick feedback:
I don't see the purpose of the dash, and giving it a cooldown icon like abilities could make it easier to discover.
The play button was a little hard to see (the triangle part).
A pause/menu button would be a nice feature.
The difficulty seemed to be just waiting on cooldowns to guarantee the win, BUT the animations were really cool and felt super impactful (especially the ultimate).
Fails to really match the theme "tiny creatures" as even the player seems to be decently well sized against the city. The music being made with Suno and AIVA AI makes it clash heavily with the game and doesn't fit the tone much at all, and it can be best to stray away from generative AI materials as it's generally frowned upon and a legal disaster on who owns it. Even stock music would serve the purpose better.
Overall a solid entry! It's wonderful visually and in also in terms of programming, just needs some minor touch-ups on clarity and audio and you have a solid entry!
I will try my best next time too! :v_tone3:
I also loved the way the buildings fell when the city took damage lol, that was super cute and fun to watch.
