Swarm World War is an RTS horde defense game where you face relentless waves of tiny blob creatures. Build and manage defensive structures to survive the endless onslaught of swarming enemies. As the hordes grow larger, your strategic placement and resource management become critical to lasting through each wave.

SOME HINTS! * Towers will increase the range of nearby units. * Logistics spawn builders! (you start with 3 for free at the HQ) * Barracks will spawn soldiers for you!

  • You can hold shift to place multiple of the same building
  • Sandbags can be click'n dragged during placement to create a line

This game has no end, and it will really try to kill you after wave 25!

Great game flow! Reminds me of a 3D version of the old Age of War flash game.

Very immersive, wave 24 is my best, ;'{ I rage quit, but I will launch it again for sûr, I want to see the show of the wave 25. Thank you, I really had a great time playing it. You rocks !

A really fun game! Only wish I had gotten more money! I managed to make it to wave 23 was so close to the fabled wave 25, will definitely be giving it another try when I have time! One minor thing that you might want to change is the volume for the tank explosion, gave me a good jump when I heard it lol!

@ty-victorson hehe glad you liked it! yeah, after a good night sleep I agree that the game is more fun with a bit more money. but the current balance is what I submitted with

.... if you want to try again, there is an infinite money glitch in the current version:
> when you remove/sell a building you always get 10$, but sandbags only cost 5$

Great game flow! Reminds me of a 3D version of Age of War. I had a blast playing, but wave 25 is brutal! Really fun and well-balanced overall!

Finally an RTS for this theme, I haven't encountered one yet! It has good potential, I think some polish on the UI would be great but nice job!

Really liked replaying this one. Cool grass shader! Towers buff needs radius indication. Also found a bug if you click 'replay' after you fail - new round units wont shoot at all.

You can see the bug here on my first attempt: `https://youtu.be/9r9M_Y5ABbU` (copy link to see).

Here is my second attempt:

This is good! I was defeated on round 30. I think having the logistics guys running around building and repairing everything really kicks things up a notch. To tweak the game I would suggest making things cheaper and less effective so the player has more to do and is not waiting around so much. Also the tank exploding sound effect is too loud. Other than that, it's a pretty solid foundation. I like being able to hold shift and quickly deploy lots of sandbags.

I got to wave 28 before those tanks rolled in. This was fun.

The 25th wave turned out to be the last one for me %)

Very good realization of tower defense. The only thing is that it lacked a quick restart and "continuous construction" for sandbags

Engaging, fun, straightforward genre game! I played it over twice, and might play it once more with infinite money ^^

I found it very funny and gruesome when bodies were rolling from an incident. Such effective visuals in general with so little resources! Very fun and challenging indeed. And I can agree that having the possibility to place the same item multiple times without selecting them again would be nice. Good job! :boom:

@cliva @johnbrynte thank you so much for trying out the game, I hope somewhat enjoyed it
on the construction side, it's my fault for not telegraphing it properly. but you can hold shift to keep placing the same object again, and for sandbags you can click-drag to place a line of them.

This is the first LD in a while where I didn't have time to make a tutorial, I think it hurts the experience quite a bit  Have to give that a higher priority next time!
