Hi! I'm so happy to show you my 2nd LD game! ^_^ I learned a lot since last summon, and this is what I came up with...

In a tiny bush lives many many tiny fireflies.

You play as a guard fly, everything's fine under your coverage.

Yet the bad guy comes (~~they always do~~), so go defeat it!

Snipaste<em>2024-10-08</em>11-34-57.png With the help of fireflies of course, you can grab them to shoot against the boss, or use them to upgrade abilities!

According to previous feedbacks, here's some liitle tips due to my lack of careness:

_If you find it dizzy and motion sickness happening, try focus your attention spot on the player, this helps a bit. Also, shooting requires to hold shoot button, if that's confusing ~~it is confusing~~. _

**I didn't do that much optimization, I use a 1070ti PC, your experience might be chunky&chunky...

A very interesting and challenging game! It's incredibly satisfying to see the increasing lights around the fireflies, and the light and shadow effects are beautiful. Besides that, it's clear that the sound effects and artwork are well-designed; I really love this style. However, would it be better if the lights were launched each time the spacebar is pressed? Also, once the movement speed increases, it really gets dizzying, haha!

The controls or the view at least are a bit weird. It gets some getting used to but its a small cute shooter.

Lovely graphics! im not to sure on how to play tho. i played for 10 ish minutes and just got stuck on how the game worked

@shakirovich @op-orange Thanks for your feedback! Basicly you can grab fireflies around and shoot them to the boss in the center, the boss will shrink by its HP, but you are right, I should make this clear more, add a hp bar or something :heart:

A very strange but kinda interesting game. Yes, collecting lights is actually interesting and satisfying. Small calm game. Like.

The visuals and lighting effects are stunning, and collecting fireflies feels satisfying. With a bit more clarity in the objectives, it has the potential to be even more engaging. Gj!

Took me quite a while to figure out how to shoot and upgrade abilities, but it then became a pleasant experience, even tho a little laggy.

+ I think those things should be clearer, easier to perform or have some feedback that something is happening.
+ The constant spinning was bad for my eyes and stomach, and you have to constantly move to gather fireflies and dodge the balls, although I believe I almost entirely went only one direction.
+ I also usually sat far away from the center while shooting so only at the end I came closer and noticed the enemy was getting smaller.
+ The background was a little confusing at first since it had the same color as the enemy.
+ The art and sounds were quite pleasant.

The visuals are cohesive, and the gameplay is straightforward. I do have a few suggestions:

- It took me some time to realize that shooting is done by holding the spacebar lol
- I experience motion sickness and continued play made me feel uncomfortable, unfortunately. I think this might be due to the unique movement trajectory of the spaceship and maybe some workaround here could help, but the camera view is indeed bespoke and unique
- I really like the sound effects! The audio and visuals work well together. Very good vibe on this one.
Overall, great job on this entry!

I think it should be boss healthbar or something.
And a little more visible area behind character.
But its interesting to play! And it is a great job to make so much cool artstyle of circles and cubes!

The controls were a little unclear, but I figured out to hold down the spacebar to fire. Otherwise it was an interesting game.

@foursay @sdcorpse @tsaot Thanks for your playthrough and feedback! I didn't expect the weird motions that bad, it might be fixed better by showing exactly how it works from a farther camera first, then zoom in to actual play. And the spacebar or boss thing as well, me during development just takes too many things for granted and thanks for mentioning these blind spot issues!
