Gast Busters by carlmartus

[raw]
made by carlmartus for LD33 (COMPO)
The objective of the game is to sneak passed all the people standing around. You are a monster that naturally lurks in the dark and has the ability to see in it. Do not let anyone see you in the light. If anyone sees you, you will get busted and the level will restart.

This game is turned out to be more of tech demo than a game but I figured I'd post it anyway since it's easy to play. Just press the link to play the game.

Looks nice and interesting concept. It's difficult to know what direction the people are facing and also it felt like I died for no reason a lot.

I like the idea of having to sneak past people... Especially as a big scary monster!

This is a fun play!

The lighting is awesome, it sets a good mood. The mechanic of how you sneak past when their backs are turned is nice too. I like how the shadows become clear as you enter them. And nice monster animation.

I only get a black screen, when clicking the link (Win7, 64bit)...it would be cool, if you could look into it, I'd really like to try the game!

Would be improved with a line of sight of people. But I enjoyed it. Nice stuff. You could take this further into a pretty fun game. :)

You got the stealth and lighting down nicely. I like it how the lighting and camera changes with the monster being in the dark.

Pretty decent game, nice shadow effects and idea. But it is really hard to know when you can go, because sometimes you don't see the people, but they see you also it might be better if you could see their FoV so you would know which way are they looking

Loved the lighting effects, humans could be a bit bigger though to make it easier to see which direction they are facing. Awesome job!
