Cute! I felt like the conveyor belts moved a little fast for me though, I was really trying to think things through and make things fit nicely, lol
enderswype
08. Oct 2024 · 07:52 UTC
@quintec it was quite difficult to find a balance for the speed of the conveyor, too fast and you miss pieces, too slow and you wait ages to find a color that somewhat fits what you're looking for :)

Excellent game! It is a pleasure to play and I would like to continue playing this game to, for example, achieve perfect accuracy :)

Perfect accuracy for fill is technically possible but you would have to fill every single pixel and have none outside of the border x) (no margin of error lol) but the color score is supposed to have a tolerance, unfortunately, we ran out of time and the calculation is a little bit weird at the moment :(

Yo this game was awesome! It was really fun trying to match the colors and shapes to fit the clothes. The conveyor belts were really fun and the creatures are so cute! This is one of my favourites so far!

Great idea with the 'patches,' but unfortunately, it takes a long time when you’re waiting for specific colors.

Very Nice idea, and I love the stitching it really ties everything together!

The game feels a bit slow, and the piece to extreme in shape to match the target. Having a biiiig pile of pieces to sort through rather than the conveyor belt would be nicer. It would please ocd people in first sorting by colors! and the realizing your design. This kind of game really work well in my opinion in the "sandbox" genra, give enough freedom to people to express their creativity.

If you want to have a competitive mode, I would go along the "restaurant/serving" genra with multiple order and an abundant supply of random shape / colors.

@edali thx :)

@irene02 never give up 💪🏻

@dhim we had a lot of cool ideas but had to cut some things like always, we didn't even consider having a pile of shapes tho, interesting suggestion

Hey I enjoyed the game, it was quite soothing. However in the beginning I was very much trying to match the color exactly , since there was no timer or anything it was not clear if I needed to be quick or exact. I think either reducing the large amount of colors or adding a timer would solve this, however both would really change the game so I understand if you just wanna go for this relaxing gamestyle. Aside from that I really liked the graphics style and the music, it created a nice atmosphere. The stitches appearing on the patches was a nice touch. I have a few questions though. The eerie music at the end and the evil eyes of the patches after 9even after a restart) that made me think there was a twist coming. Was this ever the intention or what was the idea about suddenly making them evil? I really spent a few things trying some different things to see if something would happen xD

When I start the game: "I will make an exactly covered pure color perfect cloth"
After 5 minutes: "OK blue is green"

cool idea and I like the >< face pieces lol. Good Job.

@shakedimus Thanks for the feedback. Don't look too far for the "plot twist": at some point we realized that sewing alive little creature together to create clothes with eyes was ... a little creapy. That reminded us of the description of the necronomicon -book of the dead, covered in pieces of human leather (in my memory anyway, i can be off)-, hence the title. The evil transformation was meant to emphasize this, by transforming the little "cute" creatures. It doesn't go further than that.

@loco x) I get the feeling. Thanks for playing!

Very chill, and super polished, congrats! :D

At first I was expecting more ways to deal with the patchy creatures, but I was just being impatient.

These were my first results. I had to rush the last two because I had to leave, but the first two turned relatively well:

@ithildin yeah, with more time we could've implemented ways to choose how pany we want to do of more mechanics but better have a finished project than one with many unfinished features

@lastuck game design is our weak point, but we're working on it!

@hajpappan thanks a lot :)

It's a fun game with interesting puzzles. The clothes you put together unexpectedly look very nice. At first, I thought this was a game that could drive OCD people crazy, but I was actually quite happy when I finished and saw the display.!
I also hope you'll take a look at my game.[屏幕截图 2024-10-10 014244.png](///raw/8f8/06/z/6852e.png)

Okay, I was not expecting to build Frankenstein clothes today. Quite a chill game considering you're sewing living creatures together. O.o
The game was fun! I feel that I got a little too many green pieces for my taste, but that's random, I guess?
It had a good length, too. And stitching the creatures on felt satisfying. Overall, nice entry. :)

Pretty funny little game. No pressure to get it right but was kinda intellectually interesting to see how much I could fit. I wish the feedback / results were a bit more immediate like maybe a little bar that shows fill score and color score to see where I'm going when I place something and see if it's getting better or worse.
Other than that, the creepy little ending was actually pretty funny, didn't expect this combo haha.

Good job!

It wasn't clear to me what was the goal, what should be filled (the drawing? Including the grey border?), and didn't understand I had to click the "play" button, to "finish" it (i stacked piles and piles of patches, wondering if I had missed a spot or something).
Other than that (:P), graphics are very nice, music very soothing, and the concept very original! Congratulations

Nice game! I think the pieces could have gone by a little faster or maybe there could be a "punishement" for missing one, since right now it's just a fight against your own patience. I appreciated that not only you had to match the shape, but the color too, but I think it would have been better to have the results for each piece after competing it, instead of all at the end, so I could make sure I undertood the goal. Good job anyway, that was one of the most original games I played this jam.

I liked the idea of making a dress from those patches that when the job is done turn out ~~spoilers~~! Although I wish we could know why are we doing this? :)) are we making cursed clothing or...? And also liked the cute voices of patches.
Cool entry, well done!

@ironbunny colors from the shapes and the target clothes are randoms, you can reroll the shape and or the color if you don't like it

The concept of the game is very interesting, I don't think I would have ever thought of something like it :) Pieces of fabric seem cute and creepy at the same time. Is clothing with lots of eyes still cute or not? I don't know :) I think I would like pieces to somehow connect during process, but sticking them on top of each other is also very fun. The music turned off on one of the restarts, but otherwise the game works very well! Good job :)

Btw, agree with @loco - blue is green now :)

While playing I was thinking "cute creatures but also terrifying what's happening to them here" and I'm glad the ending of the game validated that, well done! If you ignore the fact that they have lively faces, the sewing mechanic in and of itself is a lot of fun and you did a great job on the shader for the stitches (found this game through the post about it).

I'm guessing the music isn't your own since you opted out of the audio category but it was a nice fit (wish it looped tho) and a great contrast to the scary sounds at the end. The fact that the patches aren't making any noise but just blinking at you makes it all the more unsettling, and I liked how you hinted at the ending already early on with the occasional red eyes during gameplay.

Gameplay was mostly nice and smooth. The conveyor belts are cool and I like how you had them on the title screen too. Text or tooltips on the buttons and a heads-up about patches being stuck even if you changed items/palettes would've been nice. Depending on the colours I sometimes had to spend a lot of time just waiting so maybe probabilities should've been responsive to what you're working with.

Overall nice work! A polished and unique jam game. Giving you some extra points in the innovation category! :)

I love my new hideous demonic outfit. I started out with the best intentions to fill in the right colors, only for it to inevitably devolve into a mess. This is delightfully creepy, and a super unique take on the theme!
