About us:

Hey, we are Parxer (coding, music) and Natarin (models, visual & sound fx). This is our first ever LD game! We had no prepared code and no idea what we want to make, as we decided to start with the theme announcement. That considered, I think it turned out pretty good, hopefully! In retrospect, we should have started with a gameplay prototype and not leave gameplay and balancing for last... But hey, first and foremost it must look pretty, right? :seenoevil:

So yeah, give our game a try and please leave a comment if you enjoyed it and/or have any notes at all. Thanks!

Tools used:

:tools: Godot

:musical_note: Ableton, Garage Band, Studio One

:triangular_ruler: Blender

See our repo on GitHub if you're interested in the source code (link below). Please be mindful that we had to rush the coding quite a bit by the end though

My favorite submission so far. Ambiance is top notch and relaxing and I can play with 1 hand while I eat my bowl of food. Intuitive and fun, requires just enough thought. Wish I could play more levels!

Great scenes, the audio was very good as well. It's a little unfortunate the optimum strategy is essentially the same in each level (snipe mushrooms on low points after the enemy has lowered them, and try to get as many as you can) but the atmosphere is beautiful, and I was surprised to see more than one level! Well done.

Very nice for the first entry and congrats! Great to see that everything from models to music were made by you. Despite the fact that gameplay is somewhat simple you managed to make a complete game without any major issues and cutoffs. Well done!

@godbo Thanks so much for the feedback and kind words! This being our first jam, we had some trouble managing the scope for sure  . We spent about two days on the first level, two hours on the second and quickly put together a rough prototype of the third in about 30 minutes, but with only an hour left before the deadline, it just didn’t come together, so we decided to scrap it. Seeing all the positive feedback so far, we are planning to expand this prototype into full-fledged game. We’ll be sharing our future plans later this week, so if you’re interested in what's coming, be sure to check back!

This game is my favorite type of games! The visuals are stunning
The camera control can be more responsive and you can add bigger error for mushroom targeting

wajoo this feels so complete and made in Godot that's always nice. Awesome job on this, I like the real time-puzzle aspect of this. You are constantly waying your options!

pro tip I found was that you just have to wait until the enemy takes a mushroom and then immediately take it back, that requires less force from you and ensures the enemy spores are small :)

Overall a very nice game that I could see grow into something bigger!

The consicese stratigic mechanism introduced me into your game fast, the game is fun overall, simple but still requier thinking in the process and determine the best action to take over other muschrooms, although I think it could be even better if the player's mushroom can be underlined with other visual effect, that would reduce the learning cost even more! But it is already impressive wtih such quality especialy with all of these audios and 3d modules!

Very chill and pleasant. Interesting strategy to consider, but pretty easy once you've figured it out. Liked having multiple levels. Played both multiple times through.

A very simple but perfectly workable idea. Interesting and enjoyable to play. One point - I would make more visible line at drag action

Great little game, it might be interesting to explore the idea further to bring more strategic elements in to it. Great job!

Very nice! I love these strategy games. Found it a bit hard though to find my mushroom at first, but I won anyway :D Great job!
