Farting Mite by Adam Armonia
In our platform game, you play as a mite that has just fallen off a human's head. Your goal, climb the way back to the head with your fart, by trying to survive the dubious hygiene of the human.
For Ludum Dare 56, with the theme "Tiny Creature," we immediately thought of small, dirty creatures. The idea of a mite felt perfect for this theme—something microscopic, living in the hidden and often neglected environment of human skin. This allowed us to explore a world where everyday elements like sweat, dead skin, and hair become massive obstacles for a tiny creature trying to navigate its way back to safety.
By choosing a mite, we emphasized both the grossness and the invisibility of these creatures in our world, transforming something mundane into a challenging landscape. Our game takes this familiar environment and turns it into a fun, adventurous platformer, all through the lens of a creature that’s rarely noticed but always present.

Also the concept of farting Mite fits the theme
However controls really make it a bad experience. I want to play it, but it feels like the game doesn't want me to play it.
The controls are (intentionally?) pretty eldritch and made me give up at the section with the double egg doors ( I could not lay the egg, use the switch, teleport to it and lay a new one no matter how often I tried ).
