Loved the RPG part, impressive amount of work to accomplish in one weekend! Couldn't figure out how to equip the weapons and was absolutely destroyed by goblins.

Holy crap the visuals are awesome on this game, how did you do them? It's giving me maplestory nostalgia vibes (even though its not a platformer). Were there multiple people working on this game?

@osh-studio No, I worked on the game alone. As it was written in the description, the game was made on the RPG MAKER MZ engine, this engine has a built-in library of tiles and even full-fledged locations that can be used as a basis and modified for yourself. This allowed me to save time on working out the visuals and instead work on the game logic. By the way, I had never worked with this engine before, but I was always interested in trying to do something on it, so this is my first experience working on this engine.

Graphics was very impressive especially in the early levels. The genre seemed to take a pivot from an rpg talking to people set in a home/school setting, to a fighting game set in hell, which was a little jarring but I think it could work. It is an interesting idea anyway :). A little difficult to equip weapons and such but I figured it out. I liked the details from interacting with objects such as how the main character's dad left them, and things like that. Overall a very cute game.

Had fun with what I could play but had a lot of issues with the web build. The dialogue background started out with glitched graphics but was still readable but then became completely blacked out once I made it passed the school. The inventory/menus were were also just completely back (when pressing the hamburger button or esc). Wish I could have tried more as the story was interesting. Thanks for the game.

I really enjoyed the music and the sense of a whimsical adventure—it gave the game a fun, lighthearted vibe. However, I was quickly overwhelmed by three goblins in the underworld, which felt a bit unbalanced. Adjusting the difficulty could help make the experience more enjoyable.

Overall, the atmosphere is great, but the balance could use some tweaking to keep things fun and fair!

Nice game, I managed to kill the goblins first try - I think it's important to use Larry's fire spell, perhaps people aren't finding that.
