Carnivorous Corpse Aquarium : Feed & Thrive by Adrien Tremblay
Welcome to Nautilus
We are an underground criminal organization that specializes in disposing of corpses in a unique and completely untraceable way: Carnivorous Aquariums. These specially engineered 1000 gallon aquariums are fit to hold tiny creatures which will feed on the corpses.
Gameplay
Carnivorous Contracts
I am the Spokesman for Nautilus. At regular intervals, I will offer you up to three contracts. You may accept all or none of them. Each contract represents a corpse to dispose of with a varying weight and reward. When a contract is accepted, the corpse is deposited in the aquarium. Once the tiny creatures have completely finished consuming it, the reward amount is transferred to your account.
Aquatic Creatures
We do not supply you with the creatures you will need to dispose of the corpses. You will need to purchase them. Available to you are: carnivorous snails for 5$ and carnivorous fish for 10$.
Managing Biomass Capacity
It is important to know that the aquarium cannot support an unlimited amount of biomass. Too much biomass at once (corpses and creatures) will lead to dangerous Ammonia and Nitrite levels. Therefore it is important not to buy more animals than the aquarium can support or to put too many bodies in the aquarium at once. Plants can also be purchased and put in the aquarium. Each plant will increase the biomass capacity of the aquarium.
Win Condition
Less than five corpses disposed of is not acceptable. Ten is satisfactory. Please aim for over fifteen before retirement.

Carnivorous Corpse Aquarium has an excellent UI for the player to interact with, though. Everything feels responsive, and the layout makes sense.
Losing fish was what I was about to add before I ran out of time :/
I think theres a lot of room for expansion for the game and I like the concept. So I plan to add to it in the future just for the fun of it with new plants/creatures, better and more varied artwork, and more complicated aquarium simulation!
I think you should definitely follow through with your additions, they sound cool. I understand that we only had so much time to make a full game, so I apologize if I sounded harsh.
Having music was nice but some of the sound effects were very loud in contrast.
Adding a plot is also an awesome idea. I had not considered that lol. I have played Papers Please and enjoyed the progressive story.
Otherwise, the idea of a secret aquarium body disposal agency is kind of brilliant. It was great watching the fish devour humans in under a second by the end of it.
It could be a very interesting simulator if add some more options and statuses and objects. Id like to play it then)
I had a hard time deciding when I was able to take on the capacity of a second person. it seemed that no matter how many times I played, accepting 2 contracts at once always resulted in the aquarium failing.
The idea of munging them with the plants, underwater, with the progressive damage was very effective!
I got carried away xD such a calming process ahahha))
I'd love to see more aquarium creatures\corpses with different stats!
Anyway that's a fun game! great work!!
Everything looks and works great, and while I know you wanted to add more in the timeframe, this stands on its own as a self-contained little game.
I think what I like most is how cohesive it all is, the art, sound, music, buttons and font all match in style and feel.
Had a lot of fun, thank you.
Really good effort!
I think that with some extra work, you could make something really, really good out of it; I would gladly buy it on Steam.
I would place creatures on more spots on the body, you could add some animation for plants and creatures, add more of them, differentiate corpses, and... sky is the limit! Loved this one, definitely one of my favorite entries!
Interesting game! I really liked the shadow effect of the fishes.
This was quiet the cool concept. I did run in to the "Once I had enough plants, just throw the bodies in, the fish will handle them." problem. Then just sitting and waiting for more contracts. Still was a fun little game.
A very cool entry! P.-S.: that soundtrack drops hard!
