Small critiques: controls felt a little slow / odd inside the level design, like the characters were getting stuck / floating on the rocks and walls, i feel like there are maybe some misplaced colliders? I think looking into the basics of how to make a platformer feel clean / polished would help a lot!
I would highly recommend, next time, to see if you can integrate a tutorial into the game itself! I was very confused at first not knowing I could switch forms, since it wasn't in the game itself and only realized after coming back to this page to leave a rating. Its important that your game can teach the player how to play~
The mis-matched art is interesting! Maybe multiple artists worked on different tasks? Love the character animations, and the tile sets and pixel art is nice as well, though the contrast between styles is a little jarring. Fun idea though!
I'd love some kind of tutorial or more time to get the hang of the controls before being caught up by the rising sky.
Love the graphics, very cute!
One thing that would help a lot is you easily get stuck on walls. I believe it might be because you used physics with colliders and it could be fixed by adding a PhysicsMaterial with no friction on walls, or on your character on the sides.
I enjoyed it nonetheless, nice platforming <3
But I get stucked a lot of times in invisible walls, and cannot get to succeed after ~10 tries :/
I wish the water didn't rise immediately when the level started. It was overwhelming and I couldn't figure out the basic mechanics fast enough. I had to restart multiple times to eventually understand the mechanics then the rest of the level was simple.
Congrats on submitting for the jam!
Good job
@maneoliz - Thank you for feedback! As the artist in charge of the illustrations I'm very pleased to hear it! <3 (these days have been crazy)
@emozdemir - Thanks for the feedback! Haha, yes, the green one does double jump, the red one was supposed to push heavy objects. Anyway, our team glad you liked it!
@shaggy - This is about our developer who was responsible for the physics in the game. It was not easy for him, so he left a message for those who completed the game :)
@rkhadder - Thank you for kind words! We planned to make the game more difficult, but did not expect that the water would rise so quickly, but unfortunately there was no time to fix it. :P
We are glad that the game caught you at least with the visuals!

Perhaps our only bug is the walls and physics. Unfortunately, the developers were unable to fix them on the third day, because we wouldn't have had time to upload the game to the site. In the future we plan to fix the necessary things and add a tutorial. Thank you all for your feedback and good participation in Ludum!
The music fits well with the gameplay (once the volume turned up in the settings).
Other people have already mentioned the collisions/physics/hitbox issues.
I couldn't reach the exit of the second level, I think I was too slow getting the yellow thing behind the crate and trying to do something with it.
