I'm a Porter for the Worst Dungeon Party in the World by cpaz
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your Name: Lelou le Loot Goblin
Your Role: Porter, the unfortunate soul who must provide support to his party of incompetent adventurers
Your Mission: Assist your team of tiny animals as they fight for pride and honor, but most importantly, for GOLD!!! ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀

⠀
OBJECTIVE:
Literally and figuratively carry your party members as you bungle your way through the dungeon. You may claim victory if your entire party reaches the treasure room alive! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀
YOUR PARTY :
A Warrior, a Mage and a Healer. The ideal party, or so you'd think, if you did not feel like they were actively trying to kill you sometimes...

TIPS:
Carry: You can carry, drop, or throw enemies or allies to safety, or to their death.
Pouting: When one of your teammates' HP reaches zero, they will start pouting and drop their weapon. Return their weapon to revitalize them! (Remember that you can grab and throw allies or their weapons!)

Freeze: You can pick up and throw frozen enemies. They'll explode into ice shards that deal damage (Even to yourself)!

Heal: The monk will heal you and all characters within his ring, including enemies...

Warrior Spin: Help the warrior hit enemies since his questionable aiming might (will) target you unless you throw him...

* Literally everything and everyone can kill you, so watch out!*
TEAM:
Chris Paz - Game Designer and Sound Designer
Léo Vézinet - Programmer
Judith Hantisse - Programmer
Charly Barrera - 3D Art and OST
Justin Yun - Animation and Rigging
CHANGELOG
- Fix warrior often not moving during the spin after you throw them
- Fix Healer, Mage and enemies not stopping briefly after you throw them
- Fix issue that would sometimes give a score higher than it should
Don't forget to read the tips, it will help with the on-boarding as we did not have time to add an in game tutorial

A button to skip the intro would be a nice addition!
We do have a skip intro button, you have to hold the Enter key. It should be in the main menu but maybe it should have been visible during the intro as well!
Love the cutscene and the voices too, adds a lot of character to the game!
Regardless, very impressive for a long weekend, would fetch staffs again.
The only negative thing I can say about this is that the (awesome) music doesn't loop when it ends, so you gotta restart the game.
Also, the AI was really good too. Your teammates felt very organic. Not quite *alive*, but they didn't feel like basic dumb robots. Great job on that!
> Warrior: **TEST MY BLADE**
Best AI, one of the best gameplays on the jam to me so far!
Nice effects, nice visuals, and of course, nice voice acting :p
huge respect for creating all of art, sounds and delivering really fresh gameplay idea!
I like it a lot - I think with the skills of the party you really created a very interesting dynamic - they are all somehow helpful but annoying at the same time (you would think that the healer is the best but the constant farts...). sound fx are 11/10 i loved the coin pickup sound
amazing animations and intro
i could totally see this developed into a fully fledged game and your team def has the skill to pull this off!

Hopefully I have my desktop PC up and running again in a week, and I can try it properly :D
Fun game - accidentally didn't remember to use dash the first couple of times and it made the game very difficult! Especially the room just before the ending, it was quite difficult to see inside. But with the dash it was much more satisfying, getting the blade to spin through enemies then hopping out of the way!
Very pretty game of course, nice animation too - very good effort for a jam! And the voices and sound effects were well executed and funny :P I liked the literal 'carry' concept, and it was well executed - I thought from the description that it might have been too much of a chore, but it was very fun to play with the different abilities - which all had their downsides.
Great entry!

Oh, and the music? It’s like a catchy tune stuck in my head, but in a good way!
Overall, great job! Keep up the amazing work!
The designs are so silly I love them. the whole presentation is strong. Only thing is that I wish there were a few more voicelines for each character for the sake of variety because it did get a bit old hearing the same few voicelines by the end
At first I found it slightly frustrating but then I started learning how to use the mechanics more and more, there was a pretty surprising amount of depth, I guess I did carry the whole team in the end LOL
great entry!
On the other hand, I think this game is a bit not for me. Too much chaos, too little control. But I understand that this can be a big plus for another player. I still got some pleasure from it! Good entry :)
Environment models are really well made, but a mostly dark-gray dungeon is visually boring. More color would be good, I think.
Also it seems that unlike the other two, Bucktavius had a bit of a personal thing going on against Lelou(I wonder what happened between them outside the dungeon?). He would always try to kill me and it was annoying until I found out that I can *pick him up while he's charging the attack and toss him into a crowd of enemies in the last moment*. Oh yeah - the character designs and character models are really well done. Great job.
