I like the simple and clean design in the opening comic. My first jump I realized I couldnt see down and thought I jumped to my doom. Haha

It looks like you hit the same bug we did with the embedded submission, it should be fixed if you follow the steps and upload again! The art style for the preview looks great!

I really enjoyed the mechanics, seems like some really cool gameplay could be built around it. Would be nice if the insects/worm change direction when moving backwards, since it should be an easy change that would make the game flow alot better :)

It took me a while to figure out how to do your parasite ability. Once I did it was interesting :)

Great use of theme and I liked the different abilities of all the lil dudes, especially enjoyed the animations and the dung beetle going backwards :)

I think the zoom is maybe 2x too big, a few parts felt like leaps of faith.

Enjoyed some of the puzzles. The parasitism angle is really cool. The little comic at the beginning is really fun and nice

I really enjoyed the idea of switching to different creatures and using their abilities. It made for a satisfying puzzle experience. I do wish there was a way to avoid soft locking your self in some circumstances, but it's worth it to go through again. The art and animation were well done!

overall an interesting game, though level design is a bit tricky and you can softlock yourself easily, but yeah good concept

fun game with cute visuals! the idea of getting inside a creature and being able to control them is a fun mechanic. Did really miss some music and sound effects. the comic at the start does really well to set the scene. the motion blurr is a bit off putting though

I love the quiet storytelling here, and taking over bugs is so cool (dung beetle is absolutely my favorite). The bug art is especially nice, thanks for putting this out there :)

The graphics for me are fuzzy in some areas like the background, but the creatures are well made and I love the gameplay mechanics! Very creative!

Shocking how cute you managed to make a parasitic worm look. At first glance I assumed this would be a puzzle game, but the focus on platforming turned out to be far more interesting. You can tell that a ton of work was put into the creatures and environment, I just wish the camera was a bit further away since at times it was hard to tell which way I should be going and the red arrows were just out of sight. Great job!

The visuals of the intro sequence looked very nice. I like the use of the few colours and the design of the bird, who was holding the little worm.

Regarding the level design: Instead of using the big red arrows, which didn't fit to the forrest theme, you could let the player see the ground or make the elevation smaller. Using your blocks to create something "like a stair" would also work. Try avoiding those arrows and let it be more natural, if you know what I mean.

The mechanic of the different creatures with their abilities is a cool concept.
Seeing your next game in the art style of the intro would be very interesting. :)
Congrats for finishing your game!

Creative and charming mechanics! The idea of taking control of different creatures with unique abilities is really fun, and the intro comic sets the scene nicely. The visuals, especially the bug animations, are great. However, the camera zoom made it difficult to navigate at times, and a few levels felt a bit like leaps of faith. Adding some audio and further refining the level design (especially the arrows) could enhance the experience. Overall, a unique and enjoyable game with lots of potential!
