Seriously impressive that you made the game engine, procedural graphics, sound effects, pretty much everything at this point entirely from scratch. :flushed: I love the movement and animations, particularly the tentacle thing you bring the orbs to, it looks so erratic yet intelligent. And your SFX generator sounds way better than the ones usually recommended for jams, I'm gonna have to snag it from you when it's finished!

I'm assuming the fish(bone) segments also act as a health bar, which is a nice touch. Great entry as usual, I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Hello! Liked the minimalism and unstressfulness of the game, as well as the sfx.

This is really impressive. Even more impressive it was done in a game jam. Nice work!

A charming and fun little game. Perfect difficulty and length for a jam. I was grateful for the respawn/checkpoint mechanic which allowed me to retry without frustration on failing, and to get to end. It feels like a shame that there isn't a piece of background music or ambience to score the usual gameplay, or SFX for general movement, changing direction etc, but I like everything that you have included. Good effort, and thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful and totally unique art style! Loved how my 'bones' billowed and flowed, and how they later came to represent health. Good amount of challenge, and I loved exploring this strange and dark world. The audio was great - especially the throbbing, ominous home-base - and the threatening patter of enemy footsteps. Very cool entry!

Very cool! The visuals are so serene and fluid, complimented well by the sfx. The "levels" felt well designed in both the difficulty ramp/introduction of new concepts as well as player navigation -- I don't think I got lost or stumped on how to reach the next pickup and make my way back even once, which is a feat for someone who's typically geographically challenged. The one-way-only sections were a great way of encouraging exploration, as up until that point, I was intentionally following my path back every time I ventured out. I appreciated that dying didn't reset my progress, and the fishbone dropping segments was a very clever way of showing hp loss in a way that fit the minimalist aesthetic of the game. Super polished, and I enjoyed playing!

Impressive! The difficulty perfectly increases as the game progresses, and I especially love how it guides me to start the game! Everything is so smooth and dynamic.

Simple, clean, still managed to spook me a bit, audio is scary but works perfectly, an absolutely awesome LD entry!

Blown away by this one. I love the way the character controller feels. Honestly felt scared until the first time a spider caught me, could maybe take things in more of a horror direction if the enemies were less good at catching the player while stile posing a credible threat.

Nice game, the controls are really satisfying, and those spiders freaked me out  (probably the sound design, I think) congratulations!
