[raw]
made by Just_ahcino for Ludum Dare 56 (JAM)

Oh no! It's seems a army of wild creatures are heading your way! Let's get those hands ready because the only way to survive, is by creating clay people to fend off these beasts.

I wasn't able to upload an embed properly so you'll have to go to the itch.io page if you wish to play the game.

Really charming graphics and sounds, with a bit more depth (like upgrade paths and stuff) I could see myself sinking some hours into this!

I'm bad at this. It is really easy to "fall behind the curve" and end up with no characters. The red triangles were really kicking my butt until I realized I need to be behind them.

Looks great! Took me a second to figure out what I was doing but then I enjoyed saving my base.

Neat little game, I liked the bomb enemies and felt like you could do a few interesting things by body-blocking. One of my minions spawned and got launched to the lower half of the screen, no clue what happened there. Feels like after awhile there's not much you can do to stop the onslaught. Maybe could be interesting if some food spawned on the map and you could increase the speed of your clay spawns by collecting them, so there's more of an incentive to venture out and more things to do. Great work :)

The game is really interesting in the first few attempts.

The "single-screen game" approach works very well for this project, but in my opinion, it lacks a few control elements. It would be nice to have a restart button to be able to end a losing round faster.

The graphics are simple, but the color scheme is quite harmonious. The music is good, but there is a strong sense of repetition, the sound effects are humorous :)

I love the execution of your idea. It's simple and charming. The sfx, graphics and music play well together!

This could easily be expanded upon. Or be included as a part of a "bigger game" as this concept of controlling the units are very simple.

Some upgrades and power ups and it'd take this game to the next level!

I had a good time playing, ngl. It was challenging, but i enjoyed it tons due to the mood of the game

Cool game, but I think there’s a point where, if you don’t have a character, it’s too difficult to make a comeback

Very adorable! I really like the distinct differences between the enemy types, makes them have different strategies to fight them. The movement did bug sometimes though, the enemies and clay people would sometimes slide along each other and one time as a clay person spawned it shot itself and a purple enemy far off-screen.
