I absolutely love cat-themed games! I also enjoy how seemingly "creepy" or "evil" creatures are made to look cute.
I found the controls a bit tricky at first, but you do get the hang of it. The humor in the graphics is fantastic! And let’s not forget that the "M" button is extremely important!
I particularly enjoyed the scene with the red spider and the hearts, but unfortunately, I ended up back at the beginning of the level sequence after that, even though I saw the “Level 1 Completed” screen.
loved the M to meow button x)
multiple fun levels
controls feel good, very well done :)
Graphics. The game looks beautiful and stunning, but it clearly needs to work on the combination of graphic assets. Right now it looks too inconsistent and disjointed.
Gameplay. Very interesting core mechanics. Game design. The game often feels too unfair. Like "why did my web break, what did I do wrong?" The game would also be much more fun with several balls of web in stock. It would be a cool puzzle platformer.
The game also lacks GAME JUICE. Give me more juice, more movement, more flavor of the game and feedback!
Otherwise, a very good job. I can't say that I would rate it. Although it looks like your game is really one of the good ones from the jam. Decent work!

For those who are interested we pushed out a second post-jam version (*SpiderPlatformer-postjam-v2.zip*) which fixes some very annoying bugs and oversights as well as making some levels easier. Please make sure to only rate the jam version though!
Controlls felt a bit clunky at times - I wish I could attach to things much faster. Most times that I would fail double attachments were due to me not counting that thread speed and falling to my doom :)
The art is really well done, both the backgrounds and characters. Animations looks really clean as well!
Also loved the audio of the spider cats. Overall I had a great time and this might be my favourite game jam game this competition so far :)
To give something "constructive": You are probably well aware of that, but the level design elements (floors etc.) could be adjusted more visually to match the rest of the graphics. Otherwise absolutely nothing to complain about!
Super cute game! Got stuck here tho wish for a solution hint TvT
I enjoyed the theme so much! Would love to see more games with the spider cat!
It's my first time playing a Spider-Man-like game, and it feels really great to play.

Here are a few bugs and suggestions:
The actual collision size of the spikes seems larger than they appear visually.
Sometimes I feel like I died, but I didn’t, and I got stuck on the other side of the platform. I couldn’t move and had to click restart.
There are times when I think I heard the death sound effect, but the game still counted it as me passing the level.
While I was playing, I streamed it for my friends, and one of them mentioned that the hedgehogs in my game seemed smaller than in hers, which made it harder for her to pass the level.
(Don’t worry :D, my rating didn’t take any of these into account! I believe these can be slowly optimized and fixed!)"
