Can't even combine a banana and a bone! Jk! Paco really wants to get those animals eh, can even easily take down a elephant, what a strong dog. Cute little game with cute minimal graphics~ :)

Pretty fun game. I wish the third ingredient would show up since I just had to keep guessing for some of the recipes. I like the movement and being able to pick up and collect items. I also like the idea of the vending machine to get some items. Overall, cute art style and fun game.

First off, an amazing submission!

I spent quite a bit of time testing your game extensively, and I have to say—innovation at its best! I thoroughly enjoyed the game concept from start to finish. With the addition of a few more animations and some polished sound design, I could definitely see this becoming a fun online game—perfect for playing on the side during class!

For anyone feeling a bit lost at the beginning: the game gets easier the longer you play, especially as you unlock more tiny creatures.

Here are a few feedback points I'd like to share:

The info for the coin automat should be displayed above the trees, otherwise, it’s hard to read.
Provide clearer information about how and when you receive damage.
It might be a good idea to allow players to freely decide the order in which they insert items.
After unlocking a creature, it would be nice if the third required ingredient were visible under "C".

Thanks again for your game! I’m off to keep playing now!

EDIT: got them all. you CAN choose the sequence of your ingredients.

Cute and weirdly fun! Some of the drops seem pretty rare. Never did manage to get an apple.

I really enjoyed this! It's fun to figure out the different crafting recipes and, while it is minimal, the combat doesn't come off as repetitive. It stays enjoyable and there is a feeling of progression as your creatures start to do the work for you that keeps things moving naturally. Great work

Such a cute style of the mein character, i couldn't believe that that lovely dog has to kill these cutie animals. But your idea is still so nice, o love it. Wait for animations for this cutie dog.

I love this submission by the way.

I have a bit on criticism, the theme behind the dog is a bit weird to me and i'm not sure about the need for combat in the game, maybe it would have made more sense to me if it was a scientist in a lab trying to create animals out of parts he finds.

Either way the game is super cute and very nice !

Extremely fun to play and I have finally beat it. I thoroughly enjoyed the game loop and the collecting aspect of the game. just a bit of suggestion. I think the game gets way too easy once u get a few companions and in the end it becomes kinda grindy. But overall it is brimming with potential. Gib my best wish to Paco. c:

Hey there, good submission! Had a couple of issues I'll go over just for general feedback. I did not really read/remember that the c key opened something up, so I was completely lost trying out combinations....for a very long time. I had to go back to this page twice and reread everything to see if I was missing something because nothing was working. Then, even after finding it, and having 2 rows of items, I couldn't make anything. Maybe giving you small objectives first, or a couple of small freebies to get you going, could help the overwhelming initial task of figuring stuff out. I didn't have the patience to continue, and didn't make a single tiny creature :(

I will say I really dug the art, and thought the idea of differing hitbox sizes/timings added an interesting variety, and was implemented well. Good job, despite my failure at playing the game!

Very cool concept! The idea of creating creatures from parts is really great, and the implementation is just the right amount of goofy.

There are rough edges in the execution, mainly in the player feedback. Without animations or sfx it's hard at times to know what is really going on. For example, some simple flashing on taking/dealing damage would already go a long way. My doggie healed at some points to full and till now I have no idea why  My inventory also reset once and again - I'm not sure if that was a bug, or maybe I was killed while looking at the crafting bench and that was the penalty.

Some sfx would also improve the player feedback a lot - but we all know the feeling of running out of time during the jam :smile_cat: As you can't craft with coins, it would make more sense to keep them out of the crafting inventory and just as a separate UI element (e.g. in a standard left corner).

The core gameplay loop is fun, and it does scratch that collecting itch

It was fun to play, but to be honest, I would rather fight with machines or the undead than with corgis, of course the corgi is a serious opponent, well, it’s too cute. I still don’t quite understand whether I can use items that fall from animals. Otherwise not bad, good job.

It took me too long to find a stick - my last ingreedient... but I created them all!

I forgot about C to see creature list and was trying to randomly make something... That was kind of stupid of me, but seeing all tooltips in game I thought that I didn't miss anything!

Some combos were funny. Crocodile... really? :D I thought third ingredient was for a dog instead (you know... they like to chew on it). Good job you two! Entry really missing sounds, but its a very solid one!

Nice idea to give harder enemies a bigger attack scope - funny to see a corgi beat a lion :).
So frustrating if you loose all your items when you die - a system to get (some) of these items back would be nice T.T

The game started out really slowly but then as I got more and more animals the game became faster. Although some of the materials are way too rare. I only once got night vision or the egg.
The game was very fun albeit unpolished.

Cute idea, very vampire survivors-esque :) ultimately it was a bit too grindy for me, the beginning of the game really confused me until I realized I should press C for a collection, and then referring back and forth between the two stalled out the loop for me as I was trying to figure out what the third ingredient for each animal was supposed to be.

Great job though~!
