I like the game, but it reminds me of a mobile game called Rise up a bit too much. It also looks like the game was made mainly for mobiles too. Have you really made this game during the game jam and/or for the game jam ?

This is my first game jam, and to be honest, I didn’t have many ideas for the theme. So, I decided to implement a mechanic similar to the one in the game Rise Up. I was curious to try it out.

It's a fun little experience, ofc there is still potential to make it better (e.g. add particle effects to the mouse/touch, sound effects etc.) but I liked it overall.

If you didn't use any template then its really great game. I love the art style and it felt really responsive. Best of luck in your next jams.

Not bad, I could see this being a popular mobile game. My biggest critique would be it's a maybe a bit too difficult. I like the little octopus guy, and how he reacts to close calls. Keep it up!

Enjoyed this immensely, bit too difficult though, kept dying. My highscore was 11! :)

The little octopus is very cute, and the levels are also very rich, a good experience

Nice simple game! Got me quite hooked. I liked the randomness of what was next. Only criticism is it could have incorporated more of the theme!

"Great job! The gameplay is simple yet effective, and it ties well with the theme. The little octopus adds a nice touch of charm, and I enjoyed the challenge! It would be fun to see even more thematic elements incorporated. Keep up the great work!

I played this quite a lot, I really wanted to see if I could get out of level zero. It's simple but quite fun. I enjoy the little jellyfish's expression bubbles.

Really nice and simple gameplay with physics mixed in. I like the jelly fish and that it sometimes talks to you! I'm very impressed by the amount and quality of music you put it. Any hints, how you did that? Would be a real banger of a game with sound effect and maybe a few more mechanics. Still I enjoyed it, good job!

This game recalled my recollection of childhood. The motion of barriers does well. An excellent experience.

Nice simple, smooth game! I think this would have been great on a touchscreen - I thought with a mouse it was a bit frustrating that I had to hold down left click and couldn't just move the mouse. Graphics and music are very cute, and the physics felt really responsive - nice that they slowly introduced the next 'level' then dropped it with full gravity. It was quite tricky at times though. Very cute, I enjoyed it

Nicely done, feels quite polished! For me the game was a bit too punishing right from the start. If it would start off easier I think you would get more hooked to play for a longer time. Also I think that the game could benefit from having a bit lower gravity on the falling objects. Just to make things a bit bouncier and maybe ease out the chaotic movement. Maybe it would be a bit easier to control. All things considered, great job! :star2:
