I don't like downloading games, but I liked the theme of yours! The PS1 style and the truth is preserved!I even caught the screamer, but I was more scared by the loud sound. The clown's voice is also funny.
Good luck with further projects!

I liked its weird ambience. I got stuck in the sheep part, had no idea what to do next. The story piqued my interest.

An issue is how large the game world is, it takes too much time to reach anywhere we want.

Keep up the good work!

I'm not a big fan of horror games, but I really liked your game! It's atmosphere and the character's voice is very funny.

What an amazing concept! The blend of PS1-style visuals and children’s game aesthetics creates a chilling, nostalgic atmosphere that really draws you in. The focus on exploring complex family dynamics from a child’s perspective adds a deep emotional layer to the horror, making it truly unique. And don’t worry about the bugs—it’s clear that a lot of heart went into this project, and I’m sure the updates will make it even better. Keep up the great work, Joblow!

What a great ode to the indie horror genre! I didn't get too far because I got a white screen when the mayor disappeared that didn't go away but the atmosphere was really spot on

I think I broke the last part... I keep sneaking past in the woods and get to a part where the screen fades to black. At first I thought it was an ending, but it just stays black after reaching the 'exit'.

Still, I like the horror aesthetic going on. ^^

The game is good and the clown is funny. But for some reason I got stuck on the textures in the closet.

@vsha-s-kovralina This is because the build that lies here is a little raw, today there will be a good game

I enjoyed playing the game! 🎮 The vastness of the world was a bit frustrating as it made navigation challenging. 🌲 Just a note: when I left the woods, nothing else loaded. But overall, I liked it!

Hey, loved the vibe of this... really creepy. Reminded me of Cruelty Squad a bit. Unfortunately got a white-screen error pretty early on and wasn't able to do anything, but still had sound.
Overall, really cool ambience, and I loved the combined idea of 'Wishtown', the stuff about the parents fighting, kid hiding in the closet... really moody and interesting. Would love to see this developed into something complete one day. All the best with it.

pretty good game! like the clown graphic and that one jumpscare with the gnomes got me! you more really slowly and sometimes its unclear what youre meant to do like with the sheep, i figured it out eventually but i was confused for a bit there, overall though i liked playing it!

Wow. I'm impressed.

I'm not into horror games but really enjoyed your game. The amount of areas suprised me as much as the quality of the small puzzles. Simple, but in a good way! Really enjoyed the mystery story. Not sure if I understood correctly, but what I think it was, I liked the small deep thought.

Well done!

Very spooky!! I liked the ambience of it. The motion blur and other post processing effects made it run quite slowly on the web build, but that's not that bad. Overall good atmosphere and nice puzzles

The sensitivity bar was a little weird for me. The lowest sensitivity is completely stopping movement, and there is only a small zone that is moderate sensitivity, and past that the sensitivity is extremely fast. Overall I really admire the 3D world you were able to create in such a small amount of time.

@brendan-aeria thanks for the feedback, yes there is a small problem with the settings) but still, what about the 3D world, with each jam we increase our skill in 3D so much that we create larger and higher quality worlds

Damn that was creepy as heck. I got to the point about the gnomes and had to nope out. The horror setting was far too good. The only thing I think that would improve it is a bar for battery and stamina. I kept running out of stamina and didn't know when it was full or about to empty. Otherwise... very well done!

@iwant-pizza The part that I admire most about your 3D world is that there are small details such as the "eyes" on the house tracking the character which clearly indicate that there was thought put into the environment.

Overall, a really ambitious concept. I love all things horror so I was excited to play this. However, I got stuck on the first pipes and computer fixing puzzle. For the green pieces, I was only able to pick up one of them. Maybe this was a bug. I solved the pipes, then kept looking around to see if I could figure out how to use the one green puzzle piece i picked up.

Very creepy! The little clowns animations were quiet unsettling. Overall the world and puzzles were a fun distraction that with a bit more fleshing out could make for a compelling experience.
I think you could play a bit more with the lighting, as the flashlight didn't really feel like it did a lot and i think not being able to see would add to the overall atmosphere.
Got stuck on the section after the sheep as I couldn't find the flashlight again.
Great to see the voice acting in, really added to the overall creepy experience.

Your game feels really polished—great audio design along with the artwork. The visuals are creepy and effectively establish a horrifying atmosphere that suits both the tone and story of your game, especially the house with eyes that follows me everywhere I go. That was an especially nice touch!

I would appreciate more content to explore, but I understand the limitations of a game jam. Given the time constraints, you've done an excellent job. Great work overall!

Great style and it's hard to do an horror game that works in a jam, props to you! Audio is creepy, visuals are creepy, I think what could be slightly adjusted is the overall rythm (the beginning you don't really get time to hear the parents disputing, and in the village you walk so slow it's off-putting).
I still went to the end and I'm not disappointed I did, excellent job :D

I had a little bit of trouble playing it because the camera was constantly drifting right, but I've had that on another unity webgl game today so I think that's some kind of issue with my computer since nobody else mentions it.

I felt like the mouse sensitivity in the opening sequence was way too low, it felt very sluggish. I liked the other sections though. The houses that always look at you and the giant flower that sometimes creeped on you was awesome, I really enjoyed those bits. I also liked that the pipe puzzle made you look up at the sky to see the creepy sun. I didn't think to look at the sky during the sheep part, but I liked the crying moon in the 'talk to the entities part'.

The subtitles went by a bit too fast for me so I sometimes missed some of the dialogue, and the stamina feature was a bit annoying since there wasn't really a chase sequence as far as I could tell, the gnomes didn't seem to be moving just generally in the pathway in front of me.

I wish some of the cool imagery from the trailer had been in the game, like the clown sitting with way too long legs. Overall pretty decent little horror, you got a lot of development done in a short amount of time! :smile_cat:

Very cool! Impressive scope for a jam game!

One point of critisism: I think the exhaustion mechanic was very annoying and unneccesary. It added nothing to the game for me.

Other than that, I liked it a lot. Again Impressive how many mini games you managed to get into the game in such a short time frame!

Definetly very high on the Mood scale :)

Oh, I love this! I was expecting a little more horror, but other than that it's great. PS1 imitation is very pleasing to the eye, the sound design is very well done. There were two minor problems throughout the game - I couldn't find the right place for the first battery part and I could only do it at a certain angle. And the last dialogue switched so quickly that I didn't have time to read everything. Otherwise, great job! I would play the same game, but on a bigger scale.

This was insanely well done for a Ludum Dare timing. Very creepy, totally managed to make me jump and the game was very clear the whole time what you needed to do. The polish is there, from having menus for settings and clear gameplay, and the style was very fitting for the theme. Loved it!
