Graphics, gameplay, music. On point!
Loved seeing the different ways the ~~gnomes~~ would try to disrupt the show. Cable muncher sure is my nemesis!
**They are NOT real**
Also, wonder who were those creatures who were always messing around to stop us from saying truth about fictional characters
P.S. as nitpick - music was not looped perfectly :D
Great stuff! Top marks!
Did you really record that music just for the jamp with live woodwinds? :0
(also some sfx for punches and gnomes (if they existed) would make audio just perfect...)

Yes, the genius **Rattell** (linked in credit) first prototyped on guitar, then wrote all the parts in his software before recording the borrowed trombone in 30 minutes (even though he said he didn’t know how to play it). He also asked his friends for the clarinet and trumpet. Having him on our team really motivated us.
We almost cried when we heard the rap (you can hear it easly by losing in the game)
For sfx, there are punches sfx but bus compression doesn't work on web export so you have to lower music volume with settings to hear it :unamused:
Finally winning sample come from this [Sweden government message](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwXewk32-bk)
Thanks to @hengen
I absolutely loved the clarinet and the fact it got faster, it was a bit of a bop!
The artwork's really nice as well for some reason it reminds me of some 2D games on the Nintendo DS in the mid 2000's and then some of the point and click adventure games I played as a kid in the 90's, really nice!
Good job!
And the music is sooo good, I can't stop playing because of it, is there a way to download it ? :eyes:
Very polished, very easy to learn, a wonderful entry for this session.
You folks are talented!
@telo-philippe yes you can ! You can find the full track on our composer SoundCloud : https://m.soundcloud.com/rattell/bregnomic-from-ludum-dare
**🛈 Readers added context they thought people might want to know**
According to The Ministry Of Truth, there have been 0 recorded gnome sightings to date. They are not real.
LOVED this game, fantastic art and music! Thank you for putting it on SoundCloud too! This one's gonna be up there in the rankings for sure
Seriously, that song is so catchy. And I think my favorite ~~gnome~~ was the paragliding, bare-bootied one XD
You have some issues with mobile controls but other then that, this is awesome 🤩🤩
Hilarious take on the theme, great music and vocals, liked the combo of high paced FFNAF gameplay but lighthearted and fun with a papers please storyline that takes itself lightly with a running joke.
GREAT entry and I applaud you all.
I have to question the relevance to the theme, though. Tiny creatures is the themes, but I didn't see any! Especially not gnomes! ;)
Congrats @langotriel, I think you are the first one here to realize that we implemented a scoring system. Feel like wasted time we should have invested in more feedbacks (always **moaar** feedbacks...) instead, *woopsie*
Sadly I'm not at the liberty to comment on your argument about tiny ~~gno~~creatures... 😶
@demiclod you can play Fullscreen to solve this issue. Did you notice that there was a tiny button to play Fullscreen in the bottom right ? Do you think we should have made a much bigger one on the main menu to make it more obvious ?
I wish it was a bit more satisfying to punch everything, and I'm sure a few more sounds would have done a lot for that. But it's still very cool to play, well done!
However, something went wrong with Godot web export and the balance is now way off... We realized it too late to fix it. You can hear them by lowering the music volume on the main menu settings.
Loved the escalating music, wish I had time to read the dialogue while smashing those things that aren't real :D good stuff!
Every aspect of the experience is so well made.
Even the main menu looked great and it set the mood perfectly.
The music is just fantastic, It's well produced, catchy and very funny.
The art is extremely well drawn and animated. I love all the subtle little details, and the animations of the ███████ are wonderful.
You're all very talented and creative people, and it really shows. It's fun just to be along for the ride.
The posts during the jam were hillarious and really added to the experience.
Great job, as always!
Oh, and I don't think this needs saying but I can confirm that Sweden is completely gnome free.
Now, it's gnome by everyone that gnomes don't exist, but I think you could have put some gnomes (fictional, of course) in your game to make it fit the Tiny Creatures theme. [insert twitch Kappa emote here]
Sorry if that bothered you, maybe we could have adjusted the SFX of the volume slider to properly represent in-game music volume.
Thanks a lot for the constructive feedback !
@ascalem It's weird, this game require neither intensive graphical processing nor computations. Do you have this issue on both itch and Newgrounds ? Do you have any trouble running other HTML5 game ?
That was an excellent show. Very clean and ~~gnome~~ free. :)
Is this game supposed to be about gnomes? I didn't see any...
