Your hive is doing well and your bees are all happy, but suddenly some wasps start menacing your hive!

Help the tribe of Badabees get rid of te wasps and save their hive!

Use the keyboard to control your bees.

  • 1 to have them say "BEE"
  • 2 to have them say "BADA"
  • 3 to have them say "BON"
  • 4 to have them say "BOO"

The combination of those sounds will make your bees do something different. Learn the following combinations to play:

  • BEE BEE BADA BEE to have your bees attack the wasps (cost: 0 wax)
  • BADA BADA BADA BEE call for help and bring one more bee to your hive (cost: 1 wax)
  • BON BON BADA BEE to use your wax to heal the hive (cost: 1 wax)
  • BOO BOO BON BEE to have your bees collect some pollen from the flowers to create some wax (cost: 0 wax)

Do your best to survive as long as possible!

cool idea. i instantly was hooked from the description, but i kept dying while playing because i was scrolling down to check what each spell did

I think this could work great as a DDR style game where u press the arrow keys along a specific track to beat the enemies. As it is...just more a complicated version of clicking buttons

Really frustrating at first but after a while the commands became second nature and I managed to snatch second place on the leaderboards. Great job! There's something really satisfying with letting your muscle memory work like this.

It was a bit frustrating at first, but once I learned the combinations it got more fun.

Awesome concept! Really love all the sounds. Tricky to get the hang of, memorizing the patterns is tough, but fun with a bit of practice. Leaderboard was a nice addition, I got to number 4.

That was fun! I manages to get over 13 minutes on my second run (though with just a space for a name). I like the sound effects and the tweening on everything, very smooth.
It's a simple concept with not much replayability, but the leaderboard improves that.

For those that are having a hard time remembering the sequences, yes, you are right and I have the same problem :smile:
I wanted to add some sort of tutorials as you progress into the game but I just did not have time to code it. And another idea that popped to my mind later on after the submission deadline was to have the bees hum the sequences based on what is most needed at that point in time, to help you memorize them.

The learning curve was pretty steep, but once I got the hang of it everything made sense and it was pretty addicting. I really like this concept. I think having the sequences somewhere viewable on screen would be nice for the first few minutes of gameplay. I died quite a bit while looking at what to do. Overall, nice work!

Hey Tanis! I was expecting a C game, great to see you here trying/using Godot. The game’s concept is clever, and once I got the hang of the combinations, it became really fun and satisfying to play. Gj!

Idk, it is not well polished game, but gameplay itself is challenging, so i spent time well achieving leading position in leaderboard, so this game was really fun for me! Nice idea!

i almost didn't get into it, i didn't read the commands right the first time so i thought it was broken lol, only thing i would ask for is commands to be on screen or to be able to be pulled up, otherwise a very good game

I used to love Patapon but didn't get very far. Now I remember why... But this is really cool though! Only thing I didn't like is that if I tap one line really fast it's ok but if I try to tap two of them in a quick succession it takes it as one 8 tap song.

It took some times to understand what happend, I tried the good sequences but nothing happend and ... I understood I have to wait 0.5-1seconds for the action happening. Then I could play, and it was fun ! I love the sound effect made with the mouse, and the controls are innovative. And in bonus there is an integrated a leader board !
