Didn't originally plan to partecipate, but since @zep was kind enough to give away some PICO-8 keys, I couldn't resist spending a few hours messing around with PICO-8 and figuring out how making games with it worked...

Seems like PICO-8 is really fun! :)

Don't really expect to score any good this time, but I still felt like sharing the game!

Cute game, took a second to realize that the "cool music" I was hearing was actually the sound of my fishies dying :upside_down:

Made it 3 and a half minutes before all but one of my fish tragically passed away. A bunch of my fish swam off screen and so couldn't save them, but this was pretty neat! I like the fish!

It was fun until I realized the fish were dying and I couldn't manage to save them all because the speed of the circle the player moves is soooo slow. Fishies are very cute though and the game is nice and enjoyable. Plus, never heard of Pico-8 before, thanks for something new to learn!

It was an enjoyable few minutes playing with this 🙂
There's not a lot to it but it's more complete than most game jam games. It has a consistent theme and everything fits together.

Not every day you see a Pico 8 game lol. My bullet shaped fishies survived long enough for me to eat a bag of goldfish :P

Fun game! If I ever get fish in the future, I now know that I should probably only have like 1 or 2 :sweat_smile:
