Let's B. cereus by seastove

[raw]
made by seastove for Ludum Dare 56 (JAM)

In this game, you play as the bacteria Bacillus cereus. The unique aspect is that you move via "Tumble and Run" bacteria motion, which means you spin in place then shoot out.

Fun little game! I really liked going into a flow of fast tumble and run! Would've loved to have some sound effects when shooting around and maybe some dangers to raise the stakes (walls bounce you around for example)

Cool movement idea, I wish there was some kind of progression after replicating. Also if you plan on expanding this, I don't know much about bacteria movement, but imho I would have felt more in control if I had two buttons, one for clockwise and the other for counter-clockwise, just to make the wait between movements shorter

Cool game, it was fun trying to frantically collect nutrients in the time limit and balancing when to resurface to gain more bacteria footprint to collect more nutrients faster. It's a clever gameplay loop.

I think I would agree with the above commenter that a button for clockwise and counter-clockwise spinning would have added to the experience, but either way, it was still a fun, addictive little game! Good job!
