Insanely fun concept, genuinely would love to see a more developed version.

I was expecting a lot of cat games, this is the first one I played and it did not disappoint. I got to live out being in a cat video of a bunch of cats racing to their food bowl, and I loved every second of it! :cat:

fun concept, kinda difficult to move a bit, but I think its not a big deal, part of the experience

Very fun game! I have a cat and she does exactly this when I bring food!

Also, very nice looking reflections on the floor, how is it implemented?

@sid37 si first, and apparently I am always last... Nice graphics and it's really col that the level is procedural. Tho it is really difficult to control the cat :(

I loved the graphics, the cats are so cute! The mechanics were so slippery so I didn't end up winning any races but still very fun experience!

Very cute and funny! Really want to see this further developed especially in the sound department to really sell the zoomy feel to it, great job!

It's so funny. I hate clunky movement, but, cats running, what could be better.
After my trash racing I'm afraid to play Forza ahaha. Likely cats know track to run on.

Unfortunately there's no music or cute paws stomping. Few more details and it would be really cool.

Cool tech demo but doesn't work great as a game. Levels are too long and AI too "good". One bad turn puts you in last position running alone for the rest of the level. Needs some tweaks in difficulty, control and AI.

It was a little hard for me to manage, but I guess that's how truly hungry kitties manage their paws!

Very fun idea, and well executed. Despite the simple gameplay, the physics made it interesting. Unfortunately, I found it very difficult to get anything better than last place. It also didn't run great on my machine (RX 6600, i5), especially when there were lots of cats around - I'd prefer to turn down the graphical quality a bit to have better performance on the average PC.

Music/more diverse sound effects (cat sounds??) would have added quite a bit, as well as a few more gameplay mechanics and more fleshed out game loop (menu, ability to restart, etc)

I love the visuals and gameplay of this! Even if it's a little hard to get used to, it gives the feeling of a waxy or slippery floor super well, especially with the reflections! Also I love the look of the cats, very cute!

I absolutely love the visuals - very well done, especially for a 48 hour jam! The idea is really clever and really shines through in every aspect, from the controls to the sound design to the way the floor reflects the ceiling lights. However, I did find it to be a bit too difficult to control my cat. That may be my fault, using an older computer with a lower frame rate, but once I hit a wall or a corner I felt like I was all over for me. No matter what I did, I would just end up fishtailing and going around in circles. I think a little bit more friction at lower speeds might help players correct course better

Very original concept and perfect for a jam! But it's so difficult xD. However, I love your graphics, the cats are so cute! Maybe next time you should add music. ^^

The visuals are very good and fancy looking for only 48 hours, but I can definitely see how it's possible- very efficient use and reuse of assets! The movement does a great job of making me feel like I'm a little cat scurrying around and trying to scrabble around furniture, although it's a little too easy to get turned around and lose ground to the other cats. The sound effect for bumping into things is doing a LOT of heavy lifting and makes the game feel more alive, but more sound effects/feedback would be nice. (Imagine, say, sneaker squeaks for all the running, and long sliding sounds for the drifts!) Amazing work on getting randomized tracks/layouts in, along with randomizing starting position and cat color. This is a very fun entry, and a great technical achievement as well! Great work.

Honestyl I laughed my ass off - what a freaking funny idea xD But I have to tell you the impact to the player cat feels why harder than the impact to other cats. Also if you get rotated by 180 degrees the camera takes a bit to long tho rotate back so it happens that you run into the next thing because u cant see it p.p

overall one of the funniest entries I've seen this ld and with a bit of tweeking and a multiplayer I see fighting my friends over the bowl xD

I had to check the game when I saw the designs of the cats, they look so silly!

very fun and chaotic tho I wish the bumping force was a bit less aggressive. I found the thuds to be very funny, tho I wish there were a bit more sound effects

very good for 2 days!

I am totally in love with this entry, such a great idea and very nicely executed in such a time period. Visually I am absolutely in love how you created the cats and the environment.
I am struggling with controls a lot, but it made the game even funnier for me. You have my heart for this entry <3

Chaos! The best kind of chaos. Just when I thought i had a handle on the controls I'd slide into a wall and the camera would face the wrong way. But I did feed the cat in the end.

It's harder than drifting in NFS! Cool game, I like it. At the beginning it is not immediately clear which cat you are playing as, but this even adds to the fun.

I see what you did there :) camera got stuck in a corner below a table a couple of times, other then that it was nice and straightforward, love the visuals and the dry humor of it all

Kittens are so cute! The setting of the story is also very cute with the chaotic cat scurrying around! But the direction control of the kittens is really hard I'm constantly spinning in place

It's a really neat concept, but it feels like the other cats always have an advantage, so it definitely needs some balancing and maybe a bit less slippery controls. The camera also made it a bit more difficult to play.

Imo this game will be awesome with some adjustments, music and a more vibrant theme (these corridors feel dark and cursed)

Really cool entry though!

It was adorable! =D I enjoyed being in the cat's shoes running to the food. Maybe some funny music would make it even better, but still nice! Cute cats, their eyes were staring at me lol
