Little Critter Pizza by Turquoise Moon

[raw]
made by Turquoise Moon for Ludum Dare 56 (JAM)

Make pizza for Tiny Creatures! :pizza:

I kept it very simple this time. To make a pizza, first click on the stack and pizza dough to get a dough. Then place that on the table. Then you can click on the ingredients and then click on the dough to add them. Then put the pizza on the oven.

*Updated to have an in-game tutorial 8 hours before the jam ended but after some ratings.

I like the style a lot. kinda wish for a bit of an explanation how to prep the pizzas and i deeply question now the diet of these critters. i guess pizza is really for everyone

This is a really fun game. I really like how you can customize your hand color, it's a small detail but it's cool that you were able to include things like that.

I love pizza, and I love the game! The gameplay is nice, and I think it can be more challenging (like adding more types of seasonings). Good job!

I like how the ability to customize the color of the hands is added - it's a nice touch! 🖐️ I wish there was a little more variety in the toppings, but overall the game leaves a great impression. Great job, keep up the good work! 👏

I really liked this game but the rat that wanted a pizza with just tomato sauce and mushrooms was a diabolical option. Also really liked the hand and that it didn't have a set of specific colors (nice for when you want a fun color) ^^

Cool cute and laconic game, it's a pity that the gameplay is limited although you could easily add a couple of new ingredients, lock some of them (so that the player could upgrade the kitchen) and also loop the whole cycle so that the player would think that he needs to serve a whole herd of gypsies, but thanks for the interesting game (I shit myself at the beginning when this hand came out)))))

Cute little game :) I feel the difficulty could ramp up a little for the normal mode, I always had 2 pizzas prepared for whoever came on the left, but I got overwhelmed in Crazy mode ^^
The idea is nice, like others said it could be a good base to expand it further down the road. Choosing the skin color is a nice touch!

great game, it works very well, I really like the creatures' movement animations. it lacks other ingredients to have more difficulty in making the recipes and more replayability, keep it up anyway!

Pizza is always good! This is a nice and simple game, plus a tutorial is always appreciated. Like others have mentioned, I agree that more topping variety would increase the challenge and keep playing for longer.

Great game, simple and relaxing, though the gameplay options might be a bit limited. But overall, it's quite good, you've done a great job, friend. Of course, if you have time, you're also welcome to play our game~

The idea is fun and I had fun trying the game. But the controls felt a bit weird. But overall a fine little jam game.

There's not much to this, but what's here seems to work real well. It's like a little single slice serving of Overcooked. I could imagine getting a little more playability out of the elements you've already got here.
