We designed the symbols to be abstract, and you’ll need to learn their meanings by interacting with the NPC. 😊
I do think this was a great game with some cool LLM incorporation that really nailed the theme! It might've been to the rest of the game's detriment that the LLM as explored through emojis was so fascinating- the clock and the food and health all felt like distractions from the concept puzzle.
yes, some more polishing and balancing would make it more stable.
Pros:
- **Creative idea**: Controlling a mouse that interacts through emojis is quirky and fresh.
- **Humor**: The witty scientist dialogue adds a lot of charm.
- **Engaging mechanics**: Using emoji combinations to solve puzzles keeps the gameplay interesting.
Cons:
- **Confusing interface**: The emoji system might be tricky to understand at first.
- **Balance**: Humor should complement, not overshadow, the gameplay.
Conclusion:
A funny and original game with a clever communication mechanic, perfect for players who enjoy lighthearted challenges.
@hangovergames yes! there is a color emoji looks like this! When you press it will send a random color trigger word to the researcher

One thing I struggled with was how long it took to get the AI to say something back / they would finish their previous sentence when I wanted to just push forward and it just resulted in me queuing up their responses.
Great job though~!
Here, we play as "Tiny Creatures," which is almost the opposite of what most people would think. Yet, your implementation is so reasonable and just right.
Your judicious use of LLM has made the game more chaotic and interesting. I think we've finally seen a game that doesn't simply use LLM to generate a variety of artistic resources, but instead, you've cleverly integrated the "dehumanized" aspect of LLM into the gameplay. That's really fantastic!
Despite all these constraints, you've managed to create many interesting interactions and levels, which is simply astonishing. I'd say you might just be the star of this Jam in my heart!
Of course, if you have the time, I hope you can also check out our game~
