Deadly Trails by David-Liddelow

Do you have an ant problem? And no-one else can help you? Maybe you can hire the Ant-Exterminator.

We aim to eliminate your infestation in the most humane way possible: letting the ants do it themselves. Use the tools at your disposal, guide the ants towards the poison and have them bring it back to the nest before they eat all the cake. Wherever they go, they will leave trails behind them for other ants to follow. Be wary of spiders; whatever you do, don't feed them coffee!

Instructions:

Remove all the ant hills before the ants eat too much food, which is easy for the first two levels as they have no food. Click on a tool (located on the right hand side of the screen) to equip it, then click on room to use that tool. Ants try to follow trails, while at the same time laying down their own. The stronger the trail, the more ants will follow it.

The number of systems you manage to add in your game is crazy !
I wish it would be possible to speed up time a bit, though
Good job overall

Great job! The game turned out to be much more difficult than it seemed at first glance, and that's good) Lots of interesting mechanics and different solutions to problems.

This was really interesting and engaging, I felt so smart when I locked the spider from moving around with plants for the first time! Requires a lot of crowd control and RTS skills to beat I fear, I got stuck on butterfly level. Great job, my only issue was the music being slightly too repetitive, but I enjoyed the tune nonetheless :)

Ants, ants, a lot of ludum games have ants) It’s a great idea and I think that is a nice game, try to put more attention on level design. But overall, it’s nice!

Really cool concept, great execution! Such a novel system for managing groups, and I'm surprised at how well it works as a mechanic. Despite being fairly chaotic, I felt like I could manage it if I used the items well. And it's a lot of game for a jam game, decent list of different items and levels. Good work!
