When your device starts acting up, like most people, you probably just hit the restart button, hoping it’ll fix everything. But have you ever wondered who’s actually fixing your device? In "Who's Behind the Fix?", you’ll uncover the secret of those who battle dust monsters and repair broken components, all while you think a simple reboot did the trick.

Interesting idea and style of the game, fits the theme well)) It would be interesting to play after the bug fix with the repair, but otherwise it's cool

This is really cool. The music makes it feel intense. The art style very cute and high quality. I didn't have the repair bug so seems like that was fixed.

Two bugs I did have was that the enemies can't damage you if they are directly below you. You also can't attack them if they are directly below you. ![Screenshot 2024-10-08 202948.png](///raw/c20/7/z/680a2.png) Once they are to the side of you then attacking and damage.

Despite that it was fun to play and quite funny with the sassy narrator at the start. Well done! Let me know once you've fixed it and I can give it another try.

Nice game. I liked the intro dialogue. The art is gorgeous! The minigames are nice, I wish there were more of them. By the way, I think your itch io still has the old version of the game because the minigames don't work there.
Good job making this cool game! :)

nice Idea. and cool graphics. And I really like the type of mini game how you fix the ics. sadly I wasn't able to play them. Maybe they are bugged? I wasn't able to draw a line to connect the dots.

Interesting take on the theme, I love the concept of tiny creatures living inside our machines, a la Break it Ralph. The hit box for the attack feels a bit off and that can be frustrating. I find it's always good to make the hit boxes a bit bigger than they look be to make players happy.

Really like the theme and idea, writing was fun, however the connector bug still prevents proper game play in the web version

Haha, that's a pretty neat idea!
A mix of beat'em up and puzzle!

I'd only wish it would be a bit longer...

@frostblooded Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Regarding the build on itch.io, you’re absolutely right – there was an issue with the old build being up. We just updated it and it should work fine now!

Such a fun little concept!
It's really light and enjoyable to play. It would be even more fun if there were more mini-games. I'm really looking forward to you continuing to develop this game!

The intro part was neat and I dig the pendulum animation going back and forth with the wrench!

And neat job implementing the point connection puzzle mini-game into your game. Works now without issue!

Awesome job on your jam game.

Great idea and the graphics are nice, but I feel like the game is too shorts. I think you could have easily added more levels even if there was nothing new in those

But other than the length it's a good and really original game.

Love how stylish it is! Wish it was longer, though I'm aware of the struggles of making long games in jams. You should definitely keep working on it though.

Nice game! I'd love to see it a bit improved! Maybe having a timer to add pressure, and instead of just fixing three each one fixed would add a bit to a progress bar, and killing enemies adds a bit too! This way it becomes a race against time and you have to chose between fighting and fixing as well!
Good job!

Cool, literally pixel fixies, as for the gameplay I would only say that the variety of mini games should be more for such a game. As for the visuals, there are no questions, but there are questions about the idea, if I were you I would make procedural generation and thus loop the game, I understand that it is difficult, but still imagine how everything would turn upside down)
And so thanks for the game, it was nice to play

Good idea to play a little gremlin that actually fixes your stuff!
The graphics are really nice, I just wish there was some audio to go along it. The game is a bit short but what is there works, congrats!

I liked the introduction! Made it more engaging and gave it more context. The game was quite fun, and I was surprised to see a full minigame in it, well done! The art was also well made.
I wish the character was a bit faster and that the game would pause when doing the minigame, apart from that great job!

A classic puzzle game with a completely new perspective! I love the addition of the story; it's simple, but the premise made me smile. I'd love a game like this but with more kinds of puzzles sprinkled in.

The fixing of circuits reminded me of Flow; It did take me a surprising long time to figure out the little yellow arrow meant the nearest circuit for some reason. Found the dialog pretty funny.

This one was super cute! The quick play through was just enough and the mini-game to complete the task was a suitable and nice touch. I love how you incorporated the theme. The dialogue at the beginning was a bit slow and left me a tad frustrated before starting the actual game, but the play through made up for that. Great work!

The concept of the game was funny and unexpected, and the intro presented it well.
I enjoyed the the detailed environment. The animated fans were a nice touch.

And I really like the puzzles! They were a lot of fun, and fit the theme of the game very well. It felt like I was routing wires on a circuit board.

The game wasn't that long, but I don't think it's a drawback.
On the contrary, it was a fun experience that was engaging the whole way through.

I could play more of those puzzles, they were great ;)
