My mind quickly got filled with a suspicion that the designed could be explored quite a lot. Which is amazing for a puzzle game!
Right now I've found that I often could brute force passing levels by pressing right arrow and jumping. This got me bored after a few levels.
But I think it could be improved with a bit of balancing when a game doesn't give you too many meat balls so you can be reckless, or by rewarding you with getting more meat to the finish line. I like the last option more, personally
Very nice entry  Good luck in your endeavours!
Of course, goes without saying that some sounds and music would have made the experience a lot better / fix a lot of the issues of puzzle games such as perceived repetitiveness.
Great entry!
It's really the kind of game I had in mind for this jam!
It's a great idea, nicely done!
Really neatly done, congrats!
Comments above me seem to really like the game, and I kind of suspected this was a matter of personal taste before reading them so these thoughts might just be entirely from someone too far outside of your target (I typically only like puzzle games that feel more like a board games, turn based and not dependent on skill beyond figuring out how to do hte puzzle).
The puzzles started to feel a bit repetitive to me (I made it to the lava level, and ultimately, the design space around this felt well explored). Strategies evolved between focus on 1/2 when building stairs and make frozen guys every two spaces (trying that wouldn't get me more than 1 off for advancing).
I'm wondering if autounfreezing, limited number of unfreezes or time limits would make this feel a bit better (making a level of skill required that feels less arbitrary than the off by one issues I mentioned above where I'djsut do the same thing again and 1 more happened to survive).
The puzzles were unique but I wish the levels would get a bit more trickier later on as the comments mentioned the freeze units mechanic is very strong.
Overall great job!
