A couple of things I think you could improve. The speed of the character is very slow, especially falling, it makes the game more tedious than it needs to be.
Some inputs seem to be a bit delayed, for example the guys that lift, often wouldn't always respond to my inputs.
The timer also feels a little unnecessary (maybe it comes in on later levels?), I think maybe you could give players a score instead of having to wait on the creature.
The puzzle solving was fun and an interesting take of the theme.
That being said, I can see a good base for puzzle game here.
