Super Bug Bash is a native Super Nintendo Assembly game developed by Aaron Goodwine, Alex Bezuska, and Colton Ramos for Ludum Dare 56. Although we didn’t quite finish the gameplay loop during the jam, the current ROM allows you to control four bugs walking around the screen using a multitap with four controllers. Our goal was to create a fast-paced, competitive game, but for now, it's more of a playful bug-walking simulator! We plan to continue working on the game post-jam to turn it into a small, complete experience, which we’ll be showcasing at our upcoming local gamedev event, Local Game Harvest. We’re excited to bring this project to life and can’t wait to show it off soon!
